fantastic mini light with excellent modes
Quick take: this is a very well made mini light with excellent, direct-access moonlight and memory modes, and some excellent advanced functions. You will have to read the instructions carefully to figure everything out - but it's worth it.We were skeptical of this little light as we aren't familiar with the brand. We have Nitecore, Thrunite, Olight, Lumintop and Fenix lights around, as well as a variety of no-name brands so we have a lot to compare to. This little light is top tier. The built in battery offers high power output for maximum run time and brightness and USB-C is charging is excellent, handily beating proprietary chargers or older standards like micro-USB found on a lot of cheaper lights. The buttons offer a variety of functions. Button 1 (top) has a lock out function (triple press) direct access to moonlight (tap) and memory access (double tap). While in moonlight mode, "triple click" will switch to the secondary (AAA) power source, if you've installed a battery and it has power. Button 2 (bottom), allows momentary access to full power (press and hold, release shuts off), as well as beacon (double tap, each double tap cycling through blink rates). The packaging it top tier and would make this a great gift.If I had one very minor gripe: the hat/webbing clip is a TIGHT fit and it tends to mar the anodizing which is otherwise very durable. Not docking points for this but it's something to be aware of.Recommended.

Very small and bright with a lot of settings.
I like the compact slim design of this light which makes it good to fit on my keyring or in my pocket. Having the dual battery option is a good design and a unique feature. I like that it's rechargeable so it's not wasteful and if the internal battery drains while I'm not near a charging source, I'm able to use a standard AAA battery as a backup.I'm not a fan of the external USB port on the side of the light, as I notice it tends to open when I put the light in my pocket. The light included an extra rubber USB cover in case it eventually falls off or wears out.The user interface takes awhile to fully learn and get used to, but I like the 4 brightness levels. There's also a lockout option although the buttons on this are already recessed so it's not easy to accidentally turn on. I also like the mode memory that remembers what setting I last used. Although, the momentary option is the setting I've been using the most and is great for quick and temporary light. The strobe option is generally something I never need or use, however, I like that it's a hidden feature and not in the way. In order to activate strobe, the bottom button needs to be pressed quickly 2 times in a row. It's also nice that this light can be turned on or off without having to constantly cycle through every setting. The light is very solid and durable feeling with a bright light output on the maximum setting. The ultra low moon light option is great for night as it's sufficient to see things up close but not overly bright.

Nice light with AAA battery backup.
I got this light after owning the A3 Pro for several years. The only thing I didn't like about that light that it just dies without warning. May fault for not charging it enough but I'm willing to pay for a solution. This light offers a AAA battery backup so when the rechargeable battery does I still have a working light with a warning that I need to charge it again. So far this is working great and while it's larger than the A3, it's not too bad and still fits easily in my pocket. My one complaint is the fancy new coating on the marble finish that's supposed to be space age nearly indestructible tech. It scratches much easier than the great anodizing on my A3. Still, I'm very pleased with this light.

Quality EDC Torch With Multiple Power Source Options
A well built, bright, and small EDC torch. The multiple power options of both built-in LiPo battery in the additional AAA battery options makes sure that the torch always has power. In the event that the LiPo battery is discharged you can use a standard AAA battery to power the torch. By using the built-in LiPo battery you get more intensive output than using a AAA battery. The ability to use a USB-C charging cable (not included) to charge the internal battery makes it easy to keep it charged. The bottom button is a momentary switch of intense torchlight output needed for quick light sources. The top button cycles through the different light output settings and has a memory function for the last light output setting used. The built-in belt clip was quite a challenge to install on the unit as it was very tight, but that gives me confidence that the belt clip wouldn't detach when carrying everyday.

Unquestionably a bright light
In all honesty, I requested this item because I could not believe its price. How could a Keychain Flashlight be priced at twice as much as more powerful, but bulkier flashlights? Is miniaturization worth such a significant price premium?Continuing the honesty, I have to admit that after receiving it and trying it out, I still don't have an answer about its price - utility efficacy. But I do see that there are several other models of Keychain Flashlights from RovyVon, so I guess this one fits right into that niche sub market for mini flashlights. On the plus side, the bright setting is quite bright for such a tiny device. But on the minus side, the multi use of the 2 buttons is a bit complicated e.g. locking (so the buttons are not unintentionally deployed) and unlocking it and deciphering the 2 LED responses is bad enough with the instructions spread out in front - I wonder if I would be able to figure it out in the dark where the instructions couldn't be read, even if they were present! Then once unlocked a single press on Button 1 to get "Moonlight" mode or a double press to get the "Memorized" brightness. Maybe I'm still riding the learning curve, but it just seems to be overly complicated. Would it be so difficult for them to add a red LED to indicate failure? In conclusion, I am not going to add this to my keychain because, as small as it is compared to other flashlights, it is still comparably bulky as a car key fob. But, I will toss it in the glove compartment just in case I get stuck on a dark night.
