Solid Buy
I was skeptical at first due to the low price. Fits my full-sized 1911 perfectly and is solid for IWB carry. The stitching looks great, the leather smells great and it has a solid grip on the gun. Very impressed with the quality - particularly for the money. I will be buying another one!

A Quality 1911 Holster with a Thumb Strap That Works
I am Crystal's husband. I have been searching for a holster for a new 1911. I had not purchased one for some time. I was surprised to learn after purchasing 2 different holsters that, while the quality of the leather was very good, the thumb strap mechanisms were poor. EDC a 1911 in "condition one", IMO, requires a proper functioning thumb strap between the hammer and the frame. Prior holsters flipped the thumb safety off when thumb strap was engaged. Not cool when it is also a requirement for LE agencies. This holster is well-made. Heavy leather. Stitching is superb and most importantly these craftsmen know how to make a holster with a thumb strap that does not flip off the thumb safety. Beautiful job at a surprising price. I think I will buy another just in case.

Pros /cons
It fits my 1911 very well . It's comfortable to wear. leather is good quality. The only problem I've got is the thumb break snap is a little too loose. That's why the 4 stars. I would still recommend it

Stoeger Str-9 9mm
2 year review. Holster has held up well with regular use. Bought for a Stoeger 9mm handgun and it fits very well. Decent quality leather and craftmanship. Ride high and close on the outside of my belt, withing easy reach. With a long enough shirt or jacket is even pretty concealed. 5 star, would buy again.

This holster is fine, but nothing special. Just spring for the 1791 brand.
