PrimusPowerLighter Lighter and on/off (Black)

I Knew of Primus before buying this lighter as some of my camping gear was made by them so I knew I was buying quality. The first time I used it I was camping in Wales in what seemed like a hurricane. I turned on my Primus stove and lit it first time. I used it a number of times in the three days I was camping and it never let me down once. A year later I went camping with a friend and I asked him to make sure that everything was in the tent before he went asleep. I woke up the next day to find the campsite soaked and my friend had left my lighter out in the rain all night, once again it lit first time.

Awesome little lighter. I have 3 of them now. All still working fine. I've had other makes of jet lighters before that seem to have a limited lifetime especially after refilling but not a problem with the Primus. Great in the wind and also great for pre-heating out door pressure cooker lines quicker than the traditional method. I highly recommend this lighter.

This item has stopped working after minimal use. Would like to return item.

Does not allways turn on. wich is a bit sad, as when it does it got a good flame with lots of heat.. But it is a down side it will not turn on every time..

great for lighting camping stoves, flame projected so unlike a cigy lighter where flame bends back to burn you .if and when I would buy another .best pocket lighter ive used.

Good lighter, but experience tells me ignition with regular use will pack up after a year, hence my recent purchase to replace

me ha encantado este mechero. Incluso aunque gaste mucho gas, es bestial. Es un soplete de bolsillo. Además la boquilla se cierra cuando no está en uso. Es cómodo de usar, La llama sale recta incluso boca abajo y calienta muchísimo si tu intención es encender con viento un fuego, una traca o derretir algo. Las velas las enciende genial, especialmente si son de difícil acceso ( como vasos de vela muy profundos donde se te quema el dedo con un mechero normal). Muy contento. Se recarga fácilmente con cualquier botella de gas para mecheros con el adaptador correcto. La parte transparente te ayuda a controlar cuánto gas queda. No lo recomiendo para fumadores, pues el gasto de gas es importante. Muy recomendable. No es barato, pero es muy útil.

An excellent lighter right of the box. All I had to do was fill it and fire. It worked every time, never missed.The key is to properly fill it and, more important, is to fill it with quality gas. Here is what I used:Optimus refill adapter and,Snow Peak/ Giga Power/ Isobutane Propane mixI made sure to follow all safety precautions/ instructions. Also, I adjusted the gas valve at the bottom so I receive proper/ safe flame.Lastly, for the record, item was delivered with care in packaging and was in perfect condition.
