The product itself is nice, but the way its shipped and packaged needs work. Half of the items delivered were shattered.

I was amazed at the light-weight box in which these heavy, glass frames were shipped and how I could feel the frames sliding back and forth inside that box. It was the week before the Christmas holiday, when you have to assume there's a lot of tossing of boxes around due to the need for speed to complete deliveries. The packaging material did not take into consideration that these frames were going to be handled, even a little bit. The box my frames arrived in showed evidence of a rough trip, but that wasn't the main cause for my reason to include this problem in the review.Fortunately, only one was chipped, but that's one less than I expected to have. I'm dropping one star for the manner in which the vendor chose to package them.The frames are nice - like I said they are heavy glass and have a good appearance. However, to install the "certificate" you can only slide it in from one side and it's a little snug. My intention wasn't to frame a certificate, but rather pictures which are not exactly 8.5 x 11. I was hoping to center them so that they appeared to "float" over the black back. But, because there's just a small thumb slot to adjust the contents , it's hard to manipulate the position, and even a little scary that if you push it in too far, you won't be able to get it out if you don't rip off the back of the frame . I will add, even if you are installing an 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock, it's not easy to make it line up perfectly plum in the frame. So, for that reason, I'm reducing my rating by one more star for a total of 3. If the packaging were improved, I would have given a respectable 4.
