I used this sprayer to primer and paint my 10x12 shed after putting new t111 siding on it. What a time saver this sprayer is! It works great if you READ THE DIRECTIONS. It explains how to thin the pain and comes with a cup with a hole to measure the consistency of the paint. Latex paint can be thinned with water. If you try to spray paint straight out of the can or bucket you’re not going to get satisfactory results. Thin it enough and you’ll be spraying super fast. I primed my whole shed in about an hour and put several coats of paint on it in a few hours, including letting it dry between coats and cleaning my mess when done. Way faster than brushing and rolling.

This was a waste of money, honestly. It drains the battery in 30 minutes so you barely can even paint. By the time you recharge the battery, the paint that couldn’t be cleaned out has hardened and then it’s jammed. I spent more time figuring out how to get this unjammed, than I did actually painting my walls. I would not recommend, just rent a paint gun from Home Depot.

I purchased this sprayer to paint an office door and side light window I had recently installed (see pictures). The paint I tried to use was way too thick and the instructions provide information about how to dilute the paint, but I found a youtube video that was more helpful. Once I had the paint sufficiently diluted, it sprayed fine. It was a trial and error process to figure out which nozzle to use, and ultimately I found that the smallest nozzle had the least overspray, but it took a long time to paint with. Unfortunately, the medium and large nozzles created a ton of overspray (despite having masked a large area off) that I had to either wipe down immediately after or paint over later. Also, the larger the nozzle, the more likely you can spray too much material and then have runs. I definitely recommend practicing on cardboard to get the hang of how much material comes out.The sprayer uses DeWalt batteries, which I already had several, and I generally used a 5 amp hour battery, which usually lasted about an hour or so. I found that the sprayer is not nearly as powerful as professional sprayers, and instead of the paint coming out really smooth, there is a little bit of texture to it. It's still better than brush strokes, but it's not as silky smooth as I would have liked (and this could have been the paint I used). This was more noticeable on smooth surfaces, the sprayer worked great on some other doors I sprayed that had a rough texture too them.The sprayer is somewhat obnoxious to clean, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. The sprayer kicks out a lot of dust, so be warned. I had a few times where the sprayer didn't spray and it was because 1. I forgot to install the rubber grommet on the nozzle, and 2. Because the flange that covers the paint container has a tiny hole that was inadvertently covered in paint, so the vacuum/suction did not work.Overall, this sprayer can and does work quite well if you have the time, patience, and perseverance to figure out its' quirks.

Good airflow with minimal weight. Have not used any thicker liquids to give it a real test yet, but so far so good.

Diluted the primer per instructions. This thing might be ok to paint a couple square feet, but tried to paint a wall and it put out so little paint. I ended up just using a brush and roller as the results were better and much faster. This thing is a complete waste of money. I threw it in the trash after 20 minutes. The motor is so weak it didn’t even knock the battery a notch.
