Emgo Handlebar Superbike Black 7/8-23-12571

I got this to replace somewhat narrow Greenbike USA stock bars on. GB750 e-bike. The center mounting diameter was slightly smaller than stock but with some added grippy material wrapped,and torque, worky fine. The grips, thumb throttle, Shimano finger shifter, display, phone mount and mirror all migrated easily. No one side thicker than the other issues here. The wider bars(about 4”) equates to more steering stability and confidence on my 20” fat tire e-bike. Also changed seat for one not modeled after a camel. This gave more space seat to bars and there’s some adjustability of bars based on shape to change rise, sweep angle just by rotating mounting point. Overal, this cheaper than 3/4 of bars solution worked great, old Grip plugs fit new bars. Measure well ty o understand what this does to riding position. For cruising, bars best no wider than shoulders.

The bar is a bent piece of pipe. It's well bent, symmetrical, and I can only assume sturdy. This particular model offers about 2 inches of rise, and that was enough to fix my seating position on a bike whose previous owner fancied drag bars. I had two problems: The paint looks good out of the box, but is not sturdy. It abraded away easily while I adjusted the placement of the bars. My advice is to use painter's blue tape to cover contact areas for the bars until the last adjustment is done. Second, the pipe stock is seamed, so to fit my bar-end mirrors, I had to Dremel off the seam inside the tube, then still had to turn down my mounts in the lathe by a few thousandths before I could get everything to fit. If you want to mount bar-end hardware, expect a chore.

Put this on my 2003 sv650n with no modification required. Wanted it because it was black and slightly wider. Same rise. Didn’t have to get longer cables or anything. It was thicker as well. Great price.Update: over a year later it has sun faded quite a bit. Oh well.

Nice bar, just the rise and pullback I wanted. on the downside, the paint is supposed to be powdercoated but it scratches really easily, may have to repaint. Not good quality paint at all. Also had to strip paint on the throttle side to get the throttle to mount on the pipe, Cant understand why the paint is so thick and yet scratches so easily

LOVE these bars as replacement for OEM's. They have a more standard riding position and don't angle back as much as the stock FZ1 bars. I've put 2 on my bike, (first chrome, then black), one on my nephew's Fz6, my sons Fz1, my sister-in-law's Ninja 650, my brother's CB900 Hornet and my other nephew's 1991 Fazer 600. It does not work with the stock bar-end weights so the 'rubber mounted' type need to be ordered as replacements. One thing to note, on the painted ones you might have to sand down the paint a bit on the throttle side. (It's nice and thick!)

Well packaged and arrived in flawless condition. The seem pretty strong to me as I am using them on a cooler racer and there is a lot of force on them when turning and leaning into a corner.....enough force to flex the steering column, but the bars are solid. I had no problem fitting a throttle sleeve over the bars as some others have indicated. The finish of the bars seems to scratch really easy though, so deducting one star for that.
