Brian did a phenomenal job telling us the stories, making us feel like we are at a family reunion, sharing such inspiring moments and lessons, keeping Bob Proctor's legacy alive, and making him proud, I'm sure.I am so grateful for his conversational way of writing, and especially for the wonderfully mentioned reminders in almost every paragraph.Excellent reflection after each session, allowing us to consider and apply it in our lives, through questions and exercises.You are going to love this book. I feel like there's so much here, as he has summarized ancient wisdom from different sources and put so much of it into this material.If you are into self-development, you are going to love this book. If you are just starting to get curious about how to be a better person, live the life you want, and/or improve in whatever way, this is for you too.Student of Bob Proctor or even feel like he was part of your family!? You must read this book.Maybe you are just curious about all of this... I am nearly 58 years old and I cannot recall reading a book in my lifetime that impacted me so deeply and on such a visceral level as “My Father Knew The Secret” by Brian Proctor-Bob Proctor’s son.Those of us that knew of Bob and studied his teachings felt such a loss when he passed and we were a little lost trying to navigate a world without him. Then along comes his son who brings us this gift and brings him back to life in such a beautifully written way that it makes you feel his presence again. If I had to describe what it’s like to take this journey of his life through Brian’s pen and eyes it’s like being invited to their home for movie night and as you pull up a chair to dig into the popcorn you remind yourself where you are and you know there will be no movie but you will be getting life changing lessons by the world’s greatest thought leader of the century in his living room. Bob is responsible for changing millions of lives (mine included) by his dedication to help change the world and this book is the same…life changing. Be sure to buy 2 sets of highlighters because Brian masterfully weaves the no BS Bob Proctor while leaving us wishing that we could be so lucky to have had him as our dad. Stock up on tissues too-you’re life won’t be the same after you’ve finished reading it. Thank you Brian Proctor, your lovely wife Corey, and your family for giving us this very personal and amazing 60 year bird’s eye view of what it was like to be Bob Proctor’s son. Before I even purchased a copy of this book I knew my life was going to be transformed. Not so much from the book itself but from the material that was taught from Bob Proctor himself. It's safe to say that Bob Proctor was and is the person we see online, on videos and if you were fortunate enough, in person.Brian does an excellent job captivating the hearts and minds of those that read it. I briefly met Brian on a zoom call and he could not be any nicer and he reminds me of his father. This book is definitely a treasure piece. Thanks Brian.

This book is absolutely wonderful. There is so much wisdom packed into these pages. It is one of those books you can pick up and read over and over again, and always glean something new from the pages. And each chapter is concluded with an exercise or questions that really get you thinking and help you apply what you’ve just read.I could NOT put this book down. Brian shares his life and memories of his father in such a warm and personal way. I absolutely LOVE his writing style. It’s like having a personal conversation with Brian over coffee. Just so relaxed. Such a joy. I never had the privilege of meeting Bob Proctor in person, but I have been following him on YouTube and catching his seminars ever since The Secret was released. Brian shares some of Bob’s greatest lessons in these pages, but he also shares a more intimate, behind the scenes glimpse of what his father was like when the cameras were not rolling. A glimpse of how Bob Proctor lived. The love he had for his family. The love he had for the message that he spent most of his life crafting and teaching with such energy and perfection. What Brian Proctor has given the reader is a real gift.Thank you, Brian for sharing your father with the world in these pages. Bob Proctor’s legacy lives on in this work. Along with heartfelt stories, My Father Knew the Secret includes incredibly special photos from Brian's private collection of memories that add another layer to convey the integrity, sense of humour, profound love and mutual respect Brian and Bob share. Page 111 has my favourite photo of all – Bob Proctor in a Batman mask 😂😂😂 So good!! I've already read this book twice in the last few months and will be starting it again next week. Every time I pick this book up, I gain new insights and find new levels of self awareness through Brian's thought provoking words and invitations to self-reflect after each section.

I was fortunate to know and learn personally from Bob Proctor. Brian nailed it with this book. Everything we would want to know about Bob's life along with the lessons that have improved so many lives around the world. There are really great anecdotes. Brian clearly and effectively writes each lesson and encourages you with wise advice.

Am 19.10.2019 lernte ich Bob Proctor (1934 – 2022) persönlich kennen. Er war der weltweit bekannteste Trainer im Bereich Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. Diesen Abend im Austria Center Vienna werde ich nie vergessen. Da stand ein älterer Sir mit einer schier grenzenlosen Energie auf der Bühne. Bob Proctor war damals schon 85 Jahre alt. Er erklärte uns suggestiv, wie uns Paradigmen daran hindern, uns voll zu entwickeln.Kein Mensch konnte mir das Gesetz der Gesetze so gut erklären, wie er. Er bewies mir, wie die meisten von uns durch ihre Paradigmen in einem selbst gewählten Gefängnis stecken und erklärte mir, wie wir uns daraus befreien können.Paradigmen sind tief in uns verwurzelte Gewohnheiten. Gute oder schlechte Gewohnheiten sind dafür verantwortlich, wie unsere Ergebnisse letztendlich ausfallen. Dies erstreckt sich über all unsere Lebensbereiche.Seit ich Bob Proctor treffen durfte, ist er neben Émile Coué einer meiner Heros. Emil Coué's und Bob Proctor's Philosophien und Betrachtungsweisen auf das Leben haben mein Mindset erheblich verbessert. Beide waren Lebenslehrer die für viele Menschen sehr viel bedeuteten und deren Lebenserfolg maßgeblich beeinflußt haben.Ich habe von diesem Buch erst neun Kapitel gelesen. Es ist für mich so wertvoll, dass ich nach dem Fertiglesen dieses Buches, jede Woche mindestens ein Kapitel lesen werde.Alleine die Erkenntnis "Es ist, was es ist!" wenn man dann im Nachhinein zurückschaut haben viele Prüfungen in unserem Leben auch viel Positives bewirkt.Brian, eine Million Dank, dass Du uns ein bißchen in das Leben Deines Vaters schauen läßt. Er war für mich ein vorbildliches Vorbild und er wird mit seinen Werken, noch sehr, sehr viele Leben bereichern. Genauso wie Du mit Deinem Buch vielen Menschen eine große Hilfe bist.

I've been reading a lot of books in the field of personal development but this one has been such a delightful surprise! The book of Brian Proctor contains a great deal of wisdom, untold anecdotes about his late father Bob Proctor, insights, practical techniques to improve our life and relationships, a compass to navigate grief even... thanks to all the love emanating from his words. I am sure that his father would have been so proud of him.Truly heartwarming and delivering great value to the reader all at once! A book to keep close to you and to re-visit at will. Voor iedereen die op een hele simpele maar zo doeltreffende en rakende manier zichzelf wil ontwikkelen. Het leest erg gemakkelijk weg en resoneert met veel dingen in jezelf.
