I have it next to the radiator, currently with large shells on it. It would look good with a lamp or plant on it too. It is very rustic, solid and will not topple over. It would look good with another, so a shelf could be created using a solid piece of wood/plank.My room is eclectic, so I have all types of wood from white oak to mahogany and it fits perfectly. When this item was reviewed it looked heavy but when it arrived it was quite light. Was unsure whether to keep or not but once a pot with a nice plant is put on top makes all the difference. My wife loves it and would now not part with it.

Does the job I bought it for (plant stand) but it is a bit more roughly carved than I had anticipated, so it is fine but it is more functional than elegant.

Really beautiful. Will be getting a few more of these. Wobbled ever so slightly, but once I put floor protecting discs on it was fine.
