We have 3 dogs and the grass in our backyard could use some help right now. So between those two factors we were basically having to vacuum dirt our of our bed every night. Definitely one of the last things you want to do before finally getting into bed at the end of the day. So when I came across this I thought maybe having it over the bed throughout the day would keep some of the dirt out of the bed. According to my husband it is the best thing I've ever bought! It truly works wonders. Our dogs go in and out of the house multiple times a day and are in and out of the bed all day also. We keep this cover on from the time we get up in the morning until we go to bed and all the dirt collects on top of it. I bought under mattress straps to attach the bottom of the cover (other side clips to the fitted sheet at the top.) so at the end of the day we just flip it down off the bed, all the dirt hits the floor instead of our sheets, and it's easy to flip back up over the bed in the morning. Our robot vacuum comes to get the dirt off the floor and no one has to vacuum the bed!!! Seriously, seriously a game changer for us. The water resistance is an amazing feature too! Dirt + rain = mud. This has saved our sheets from muddy paws many a times! And because it's absorbent the mud dries to loose vacuumable dirt rather than stuck on mud that needs to be scrubbed or full out washed. The water proofing also allows us to let our dogs get on the bed when they're wet, which they love! Our boy likes to rub his body all over to try and dry off and we'd never let him do it on the bed, for obvious reasons, but now he can run and rub and be crazy to his hearts content and we still have a dry bed underneath. Our great dane gets cold coming out of the shower so she likes to lay in bed under blankets after, still a perfectly dry bed for us! The only downsides are the lack of durability and the secondary color. I bought the yellow cover and the lighter side is such an awful hospital yellow. It looks like a puppy pad. Would never have that side up. But the darker side is the color I really wanted so all is well just no changing shades for us. Now back to durability, or lack there of. We do have a tear or two in the main area of the cover. They aren't all the way through, just one layer. But like I said, we have 3 big dogs and they put this thing to the test so I'm not too upset about the little tears. I am however disappointed that the lining around the edge is ripping off already. We have it clipped under the bed and it's ripping right where the dogs jump on to the bed so I'm sure that's why but still disappointing. I would definitely buy again but would also consider trying another brand that might be a bit more durable.

We have five dogs that are ours and they have friends that come over to play all the time. We are constantly adjusting the blankets but when you have up to 16 dogs running around in your house on any given day, you're going to have to adjust the blankets throughout the day to protect your furniture. Then-slip dog covers are a joke because they are not sewn all the way through and the fabric separates like a big parachute and those are the most impossible ones ever. They are good for one use only and as soon as they are washed they start separating and become impossible to fold or to stay on the furniture because one side grips to the furniture but colored side that pulled away from the stickiness just let's gravity take over and slowly peels itself away from the couch. The reversible ones that are waterproof that I can wash and adjust throughout the day are by far a better purchase. And just completely skip over the non-slip grip one sided couch protectors, those are nothing but a joke unless you never ever ever wash the blanket on your couch the dogs lay on constantly. That's kind of gross.

I’m bought two of these after the addition of a new dog caused our terrier to start urinating on our couches. I didn’t want to have to fully deep clean the sofas on a regular basis so I purchased two of these covers. They work amazingly well. For example, we were rushing out the door one day and one of the dogs had an accident without me knowing. I put them in their crates and left. Three hours later I came home and noticed the puddle on the couch. It had not absorbed AT ALL. I have washed both covers several times in hot water and, so far, they are as good as new.These are not fitted covers. They are basically a large blanket. I do tuck mine in behind the seat cushions and then over the loose back cushions. They will get sloppy looking if you have kids all over the couch, but I just smooth them out. Highly recommend!

I have three dogs so I decided to look into a waterproof blanket and have not looked back sense! I have a couple on hand so I can always switch them out. This one in particular, is a great size and fits a bottom half of my bed where my dogs sleep perfectly . It works great for them and myself to keep my comforter more clean. I luckily haven't needed to test the durability of how waterproof it is but it does help keep my bed clean which is what I bought it for. The durability seems to be on par and it is waterproof for now, but i'm not sure after washing it if it will hold up as some of these blankets seem to get messed up after washing them.

I never write reviews. This blanket is worth the money. I’m a veterinarian with 5 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 teenagers. After getting sick of washing my couch cushions I finally purchased 2 of these. Now all I have to do is throw them in the wash once a week and I haven’t had to wash my couch in almost a year. I just wish I’d purchased them sooner. They’ve held up and still look new.

I purchased the first cover and put it to the test by spilling a TBS of water on it. The water puddled up. A simple paper towel absorbed the puddle. The colors, durability, and lightweight material are very attractive. I purchased the blue for a dog bed cover, and the pumpkin and green covers as bedspreads. I love the lightweight material and the colors are true to the photos displayed. They all have laundered well.

This color is great, so I got the throw for my bed when I adopted a puppy (got a yellow one for my couch as well). The material does not make any kind of plastic noise, and it worked hard in that first month keeping "accidents" from touching any of my bedding. Of course, the water resistance fades the more you wash it (I put it in my machine and then dry on low; I also have a waterproof mattress cover), but I spray it with Scotchgard, and now that my pup is housebroken, this throw keeps dirty paws, barf, and pet hair away from my linens.

This product worked brilliantly when I first got it. My cat urinated on it and not a single drop got through, not even the smell.I washed as per the instructions provided above: gentle cycle, 20 degrees Celsius with non-bio detergent.Most of the waterproof coating has not gone. I tested it with a small glass of water and it’s now useless.I’m upset of course as I did what they said and I spent £65 on this!I’ve contacted them for help so we’ll see if they update the care instructions and send me a replacement.
