Decadry - Business Cards White 285gsm Pack of 150

Arrived quickly in good condition. I paid £10 for these 150 business card templates on 10 sheets of A4. Not comparable with professionally produced cards, of course, but ideal for my teenage daughter's first steps in promotion. Easy to use - I created the card in Word, simply accurately measuring the templates and formatting the page to suit - nearly right first time. Cards are gloss one side, print well, and are easy to remove from the sheet. Just thick enough at 285 gsm.

I've ordered these several times and have always been happy. They are useful for small numbers of cards. A bit of care is needed when separating the cards after printing. Always best to do a test print first to ensure the text is in the right place. The edges are not quite as crisp as professionally printed cards, but acceptable.

Card not quite A4 (slightly longer and narrower. (hence only 4*)That aside the card is of good quality and if yo fold the card after printing and run a Stanley (type) knife down the fold it easily comes away to give individual business cards of a professional quality.The printing is of course down to the individual and you may lose one sheet in getting your templates perfect.

Fortunately, I didn't by this product for business cards, so they are ok for my use, but I cannot recommend them for business card use. There is an extra level of setup required, because the supplied paper is 210 mm by 300 mm, instead of 210 mm by 297 mm. So the figures given on the sheets result in an annoying offset. Furthermore, the cards to not tear away from each other very easily, although it is doable. It is workable, but I would look to other products first.Edit: I have adjusted my rating up one star, because I ordered more of the product. I am finding the product useful for my needs, but I stand by the issues mentioned in my original review.

repeat order remarkably good results with clean edge. weight is passable but then its at limit of most printers and I can change the design just like that. works off standard avery label template.

I bought these with a view to using the Decardy templates but after a couple of hours looking I gave up, yes there were alternatives but it involved yet more expense. I dare say you can design and use your own templates, but I don't have the time or inclination to do this.I've now ordered 500 professional cards from Vista for about 30 quid on a special offer (they always have special offers), so that's the way forward for me from now on. It took less than an hour to design the cards, using their templates, and they'll be delivered within the week. In my view this is a better and easier alternative and probably no more expensive in the long run.
