With all the recent rain and sweltering heat, I have been fighting my pool. Once I got the algae under control, clearing the water was impossible. I gave this a shot. It was a gummy consistency and I put it in my skimmer basket as instructed. It completely dissolved in 3 days. The water is considerably clearer, not crystal clear, but clearer. As a side note, too much clarifier can actually make the water more cloudy. I have an above ground pool 7500 gallons. I will get this again n next year because it supposedly will carry me thru the rest of the summer.

When I first saw the size of this product, I was disappointed by how small it was. However, after putting it into our skimmer overnight, it cleared it up overnight! We have had so much rain and it also got rid of the greenish water.

I wasn’t able to use my pool last year at all because of cloudy water (chemistry was perfect though). I had a pool company check it this year & found the laterals & pipe in my sand filter were broken. They replaced that with the sand & I expected my pool to be crystal clear…it wasn’t! I was not going to spend a fortune in chemicals like I did last year trying to clear it so I tried flocculant, it makes a damn mess & as soon as I start to vacuum it makes the water cloudy again. I tried a liquid clarifier, it didn’t do anything, I shocked it numerous times & nothing worked. Out of frustration I purchased these shells thinking they would never work but after about 3 days & a bit of vacuuming my pool is finally clear & we can swim!

It says that this is to be used once a month. I have had it in my pool basket per the instructions for only a week and it has already dissolved leaving a blue stain where it once was (I'm not worried about the stain). I have a 6,000-gallon pool and I didn't think it would last a month like the packaging said, but I was hoping it would last more than a week. Perhaps someone can let me know what I could have done differently. Until then, this is the best rating I can give. A bottle of clarifier is cheaper and lasts a whole lot longer.

I bought this product because it said that it could clarify 17 thousand gallons of water for 30 days, I put it in my pool the day it was delivered. July 30th it's now August 5th. Not only did it not clarify anything. But now my pool is green when it wasn't before it was very blue but cloudy (definitely needed CLARIFIER) This product is a scam. My pool is only 5500 gallons no where close to the 17000 it claims it can handle. If I had something to send back I would definitely return the product but I can't now so idk how to even get a refund. I was so so hopeful. I don't have all the money in the world and pool upkeep can get expensive af. But this is not the saving grace I hoped it would be. Save your money and buy something else. This DOES NOT work.

It did nothing for my pool I had to go buy liquid clarifier and use 2 oz of it to get my pool clear when it was just cloudy. This product does not work at all waste of money

This product is a waste of money cuz in 3 days it was gone and did nothing for my pool and being on a fixed income it was very disappointing and I will never purchase again but I guess you live and learn
