I've been using this Comfytemp Shoulder Ice Pack Wrap for 2 weeks post shoulder surgery and I am really pleased with it. It is easy to put on (sometimes the back strap gets twisted as I put it on but it usually will untwist fairly easily) and I love that I can walk around with it on or lay down with it on. I use it at my standup desk a few times a day. I imagine if someone is elderly or with very limited in range of motion it might be a bit more difficult to put it over the opposite shoulder.The neoprene type fabric is soft and sturdy and seems to be well-made. I like that I don't have to insert a frozen bladder into the item - it's all built in. Most of my shoulder pain is focused on my bicep area and at the shoulder joint. This hits the bicep area by just placing the strap over my head and opposite shoulder. For times when I want the cold on the top of my shoulder then I need to pull the strap a bit further down (past the opposite shoulder) so it rests under my bo*b. The adjustable strap is easy to adjust while you are wearing it.As for cooling time, It stays cold for about 20 - 25 minutes, which is what my doctor advised (20 minutes).

I purchased several different ice packs for recovery from rotator cuff surgery. This one is my favorite because it’s soooo comfortable and easy to wear while walking around. Also nice for slipping on in the middle of the night when the pain kicks in so I can quickly get back to sleep. Only gave four stars because it doesn’t stay cold for a long time (which is probably ok since you’re only supposed to ice for 20 minutes at a time, but when the pain is intense you really want to extend that!!). Also wish the top part that goes over the shoulder covered further/closer to the neck. Still, it’s a soft, comfortable pack perfect for shoulder icing.

Used this multiple times a day b/c of a rotator cuff injury. Convenient and ices the entire area without having to hold or rearrange ice packs. Not as cold as an ice pack. Seems to get colder each time you use it, as 1st few applications were not very cold. Would recommend.

It fits nicely, but it does not stay cold long enough to really be effective. It needs more cooling gel.

It's so difficult to find something that snugly fits a shoulder and provides this excellent level of cool. Easy to use. Good quality. Highly recommend.

The product is great! I have other types but messing with the cold packs is a hassle. You put the entire unit in the freezer, remove it after an hour and put it on. It is very comfortable with the exception of strap that goes under the opposite arm. I found that wrapping the strap with a small cloth. I was experiencing extreme pain and this device gave me exceptional relief.

Ice pack is so comfortable,soft and flexible and conforms well to arm and shoulder.Had to wait close to a month to get but was worth the wait don't know why seller took so long to ship.Using ice pack for rotator cuff surgery recovery.

This is by far the most comfortable shoulder brace I’ve tried but it gets to room temperature in 10-15 minutes. I have a fully torn rotator cuff and my doctor told me to use ice packs for 20 minutes, four times a day.I first got this company’s blue brace made of stiff plastic. That one stays cold well after 20 minutes but is very uncomfortable.
