Comfortable, fits adjust really well, very supportive, isolates the wrist, reduces discomfort/pain.
My wrist joint (bones, cartilage and arthritis ) is basically worn out from a very active lifestyle. My wrist is always sore and swollen and gets worse from high demand or heavy usage activities like racket sports, use of ski poles, throwing the ball, raking/shovelling, riding my bike, anything that requires lifting, twisting, pulling or pushing with the wrist, (which is almost all activities), sets off the pain and swelling.Cortisone shots and use of a wrist support/brace were suggested by my doctor. The shots help but are quarterly, expensive, inconvenient to get scheduled and don’t contribute to stabilising the wrist in use. Much credit to my spouse for constantly insisting that I use the brace more often. It’s now just part of my routines.***This is an EXCELLENT wrist support brace. It’s easy on/off, adjust really well, very supportive, isolates the wrist, reduces discomfort/pain in my wrist, worth the money and very well made. I keep it handy and nearby and have made it a routine usage in my life as its benefits outweigh the inconvenience of having to use it.***What was once perceived as a hassle to use, is now viewed as necessary, important and very beneficial to me. Writing this review has reminded me how important and beneficial it has been and I should probably focus on using it even more often. Hope this feedback helps.

Good support for wrist, but not for my thumb
The media could not be loaded. This is a well constructed brace, which provides excellent support for my wrist and is comfortable. However, the removable thumb support insert is not "flexible plastc" as the product description indicates, it is metal. That metal support is very wide at the top, far wider than my thumb. That makes it impossible to tighten the strap around my thumb, because the metal insert keeps the thumb compartment spread too widely apart. I am enclosing a video that shows how much my thumb still moves, even when the thumb strap is pulled as tightly as it will go. I also have pictures where I pulled the metal support up from its compartment so that you can see how much wider it is than my thumb. The description for this product says that it is one size fits all, and that is true for the portion that supports the wrist and forearm, but not the thumb. As constructed, this brace might fit a man with large hands perfectly, but it doesn't fit a woman like me.I do think that the other features work well enough that it is worth adjusting the metal thumb support so that it can fit me, so my husband is going to use some tools to squeeze the edges of it closer together, so that it will fit me properly and allow me to securely wrap the strap around my thumb.

Really good for work
I either bought this on accident thinking I was buying a second one (back up) for the one I already had or I wanted to try another style to see if I like it. It's lighter weight than some of my other ones, and at first I thought it was a piece of crap. But my other favorite one was dirty so I wore this one to work (I'm a landscaper). For work, this is ABSOLUTELY the one I prefer! I am going to buy a couple more. It's not as soft as the one I wear around the house or to bed, but it's not as bulky or heavy. It's easier to move around in and it doesn't get as dirty as the softer ones. It's slimmer and makes day-to-day tasks much easier. For any kind of work (even computer work) I would definitely recommend this one. I'd sleep with it if I had to, but like I said, it's not as cushiony-soft as some of them. The one I'm wearing while writing this is soft, bulky and a pain in the azz to type with. If you want one for work, hit the "add to cart" button.I'm using it for a scaphoid union that's now turned into needing, at least, a partial fusion. Also bad arthritis, carpal tunnel and tendonitis. When I don't wear the brace my hand hurts and swells up. When I wear the brace I can function and do most daily tasks. I am used to wearing braces now, it only took a short while to get used to (maybe a couple weeks or so). Now I feel weird without it. I literally forget I'm wearing it most of the time. I have a collection of braces and none of them have the "perfect" fastening solution (just fyi).Anyways, I hope this helps someone who's dealing with some similar issues I'm coping with. I'm sincerely not in any pain (or very little) when I'm in the brace. You have full function of your fingers and you can use your thumb too, but it's stabilized.P.S. I have another brace I bought from the hospital. It sits on my dresser, as a backup, collecting dust.

The brace is adjustable, you can loosen or tighten the fit
Thiis review is for the two braces I bought on Oct 16, 2024 and a back up brace on June 22, 2024 (so I have a brace to wear while washing the other one.) So yes, I've been wearing these braces for over a year. So now I am setting up a surgery date for my left hand. I new this surgery was needed and the only way I would survive until the surgery date was by wearing this brace. This was the best decision I ever made. I wear this brace almost 24 hours a day. It didn't fix my hand, but it did protect my thumb and hand so the pain level was almost bearable. I highly recommend this brace.

Not For A Wrist Fracture
This does not work for a wrist fracture. The only metal splint is on the thumb side. Absolutely no support on the outside of the wrist where I needed it.It caused a lot of pain. The good thing about it was that the metal splint could be adjusted to not cause pain in my arthritic thumb joints.
