JINHAO 82 Fountain Pen with Gold Clip (F Nib 0.5mm, Lake Baikal Blue)

I’m impressed with Jinhao’s improved quality control and craftsmanship, all for a very competitive price.

I bought this because I was tired of not being able to know when my pen was running out of ink until, well, it was running out of ink on the page. This pens design will allow me a much better indicator of when I need to change cartridges so that I don't have to futz with trying to get the pen to work when it's on its last legs. My only complaint is it doesn't write as consistently smooth as I'd like, as you can tell by the weaker lines in the provided photo where I showed sample writing. I used Jinhao ink cartridges, if that makes any difference.

It feels like awsome quality resin and would be great for ladies hands.The nib needs a slight tune.

The pen looks super good in person, but I expected it to be a "full size" pen. Despite being similar in size to an E95s from Pilot or a Kaweco Sport, it's a great bang for your buck. The fine nib is "toothy", it feels like you're using a very sharp pencil.

Excellent all around.

The appearance and color is nice, and same with how it feels when I try to write, but it comes with no ink. It doesn’t say it comes with no ink, so I feel like I didn’t get what I payed for.
