Easy to place
Middle of June been hanging in garden for a month keeping fingers crossed that it still works back end of summer when the nasty little perished are looking for food

So far so good but…
Fewer wasps in the garden for sure but the decoy wasp nests are decomposing after a few weeks in the garden. Worthwhile but temporary.

Not sure what to make of these??
I bought these as I was fed up with being bombarded by wasps during the summer months. I painted them with varnish to protect them from the rain and they have stood up to the weather so far. Will take them in during the winter. At first I thought they were working, and maybe they did deter a few wasps, but during the height of the summer we were still having to swat wasps with a hand swatter whilst we were eating. Will put them out again next year, after another coat of varnish, and will try again.

Put them out now!
I use these every year and they do make a great difference, but you have to put them out now i.e March, beginning of Spring! The Queen wasps come out of hibernation once the weather gets warmer and will start to look for nest sites. You need to have your decoys up before this happens to deter the Queen from building a nest in your garden. I buy a couple of packs and keep spares as they are only paper afterall, still great value for the price though.

Hopefully most effectively used in the spring to detour queen wasp from building nests closely.
I have not found that these 'wasp cones' effective as the wasps appear very curious and visit on a daily basis sadly! I am hoping in the spring that the could detour queen wasps for building nests but will have to wait to see on that. The material is light weight and of a waxy paper type so be cautious placing them in an area they could get wet. Not quite the success story I was hoping for but I remain hopeful they may work in the spring.

Don’t repel wasps when eating outside
They may deter wasps from making nests near by but don’t repel them when eating outside

Seem to work
Reason for 4 stars is I am not sure about them yet however my wife stated categorically they keep wasps away (and certainly I have not seen any in the garden recently)

Anti wasp guards.
They are ok for the money, last year I bought two for £12 , they disintegrated very quickly but they were outside, these I have covered with a plastic bag to stop them getting wet, so see how they go.
