I like this embroidery kit very much. All the items come neatly packed in a handy tin, which makes it easy to keep everything together. It's highly decorative so it gives you something pleasant to look at while using it. All the tools work well enough and fit well in the case.Unfortunately, the bottom of the metal case is badly dented because this item is packed in a thin plastic bag from the manufacturer and then was shipped in a lightly padded soft envelope by Amazon, so the combination of the two offered next to no protection and that's why the item was so badly damaged, even though it's very light. If it had been packed properly it would have arrived in excellent condition.I'll do what I can to get the dents out of the case. The tools are perfectly functional, but I'm not happy about the increase in damaged and stolen items as a result of Amazon's careless shipping protocols.

I’m a novice when it comes to embroidery. I ordered this kit and I think it’s a good addition to my small embroidery tool set. They are beautiful and have a good weight to them. Very nice to use and nice to look at. The scissors are sharp, I was surprised at the precision I had with them.

If you're a seamstress or someone who likes sewing for fun this is a beautiful set to have. They have a vintage European look to them very detailed. It comes with a sewing awl, scissors and a needle case. The scissors are very sharp and cut really good. All three pieces come in a enclosed tin case. Very durable and great value for your money.

The scissors are sharp and work very, very well. The little sewing needle container is a little less well made, but in all this is beautiful and would make a lovely addition to your sewing tools. Well, I'm using them for crochet haha.

This set is very nice, especially for a gift.The scissors have a good weight and sharp blades. The needle case is quite large and has a good weight. The point/punch is sharp and easy to use. The only thing that could be nicer is the case, it’s very basic but works. You can always add stones or decor to make it nicer.

I really like this kit. The tin it comes in is a bit rubbish. (It's flimsy and the kit doesn't actually fit in it properly so it rattles constantly. It also dents if you look at it.) But the tools themselves are in excellent condition as well as being pretty. The scissors and awl are sharp. The needle case has a very firm lid so I don't have to worry about having a bag full of needles suddenly.
