When I got my Kindle, I knew I wanted a cover for it just like this one - one that protects my Kindle front and back and has its own hand strap for easy holding. When this arrived it was instantly promising; it fit my Kindle perfectly and the cover stays closed over the Kindle face when it's not in use, so the cover doesn't flap around if I'm moving my Kindle around, which is a bonus. Another bonus is that the strap that's on the inside front cover of this case is so flat that it doesn't bring any kind of resistance when this case is closed whatsoever, so the cover closes flat and there's no way the strap could possibly damage the Kindle screen itself at all. But then saying that, I'd say the downsides to this case is that the strap doesn't have much of a slack to it, so it isn't that comfortable to use. Plus, I still have to use my pinky beneath this Kindle to hold it more securely even if I'm using the strap, because otherwise the spine of this case goes wonky so whilst I'm holding up the front cover of this case using the strap, the back cover of this case that's holding the Kindle falls down a little, so to keep it up and at a straight angle, I have to use my pinky to hold it up.So it isn't perfect. But it beats holding my iPad to use the Kindle app on there now. It doesn't add any unnecessary weight to my Kindle, and it feels so sturdy that I have no doubt that were I to accidentally drop my Kindle, it wouldn't get severely damaged whatsoever. It could be more affordable, but that's just my opinion. Overall, if you're looking for a Kindle cover with a cute design, then I would recommend this one.
