Great shoes, good quality and very comfortable!! Would recommend - use the size calculator as they are slightly differently sized than normal - I am a 44 but ordered 45 and the fit really well!

I've never got on with sandals or flip flops and I've always ended up plodding around hot countries with boots or trainers on. Crocs are OK but not ideal, and they shrink if you leave them in the sun. So I decided to try sandals one more time. My wife recommended Birkenstocks and she was correct. This is the first pair of sandals I've had that I could actually walk a reasonable distance in.When you first put them on the arch support seems large and intrusive and at first even made my feet ache, but once I'd worn them for a bit they were very comfortable.Now if society would let me wear them with socks, I bet they'd be REALLY comfortable...........

Well to be honest, i find them hard to wear.3rd summer wearing them. If you are looking for confort choose another brand. Stylish, trendy - YES, but not confy

I love my Birkies and have about a dozen pairs in many colours and designs. Needed a black pair for work (I'm a priest) so thought these looked kind of Jesus-y and serious! Comfy and feel like slippers within an hour or so. Quite a high arch support in this style, I think, but I need that.

100% genuine .Uppers are smooth leather quality is what you would expect . The size is spot on I used the US Birkinstock Web site and measured my feet , normally I am a 10 their Web site reckoned I would be a 9 . Perfect fit . They are a bit uncomfortable as my feet are not used to been supported .My wife reckons they only take a few days to get used too so figures crossed . 2 weeks on they no longer smell of leather and fit like a glove , worth every penny .

These shoes were great and arrived promptly however, they did not fit so sadly had to be returned. The return process was very difficult indeed, not the usual Amazon ease. Eventually having received a returns label (with great difficulty) I was able to send them back. This cost me £16.90 ! I will check the sellers location now each time I order from Amazon.

Very comfortable sandals they are true to size. They are not the cheapest but I wanted arch support they do this very well.
