Cute, but you get what you pay for.
This is a cute little fountain... the problem is , it is cheesy manufacture. The bottom "nut" that holds it all together is not very good and tends to fall apart after a time. It is hard to tighten properly. The pump is connected to the solar panel and doesn't have a quick disconnect. It does pump well tho and would just be for tabletop decor. I can't see using it for any bird activity because of how easily it tips over.

Simple and stupendous
Long read, just sayin'. But if you love birds as much as I do....this little fountain has changed my outlook on taking care of our wild friends. I'm in Texas. People it is hot here! I had the fountain up with the solar panel and a drip system, a mister. No sun, no water flow. I lost a juvenile Cardinal when it was up around 108°, real feel 112° or so. Hence the bowls. Broke my heart. I purchased an electric submersible pump, 50 gph. I took the top tear off to get more sound of flowing water. I did add the glass beads to weight it down and so the bees can drink as well. The sound of flowing water attracts Cardinals. I did glue the bottom with silicone as it does come apart. I have over a dozen breeds of birds visit daily. (feeding them daily as well, yep I'm fully committed) If or when I have to replace this little lifesaver I will go with the same one. Hope you enjoy as much as I do! All that is mentioned and pictured is purchased off this app. I Love Amazon!

Birdbath works as advertised
This birdbath does what it is supposed to do. The water gently runs down as long as the bottom sits properly in enough water. The item is VERY lightweight, therefore if you put it into something with too much water it will float, you can fix that by adding some rocks. The birds like it, so do the bees in my yard.I simply wanted a little extra statement, and it does just that.

Beautiful and say to set up and use
I love this fountain. It was easy to set up and makes a relaxing water noise as it operates. It works great for most of the day.

Bought for hummingbirds .
It has a very nice sound of small waterfall. It's very shallow and needs constant filling. Cannot add a reservoir due to the nature of the nature of the setup. Will not purchase again.

Better than fountains that float
In the past I have had solar fountains that float but the water flowing over the solar panel seems to deteriorate the panel over time. I like this fountain because the solar panel is separate. I have had it a couple months but it has been in hot sun. The panel can be placed in a sunny place than the fountain which is a plus. I put the fountain in a resin whiskey barrel (usually used for planting) and filled it with water. I put the fountain on a couple bricks and put a few rocks on the bottom tier to keep it in place. This has worked. You do have to keep water over the third tier because it draws its water from that area. It runs when the sun is shining. I think an improvement to the product would be to have a battery charging to extend the run time. After having it for a few weeks, I chose a new location == something you can not easily do if you have a fountain installed that requires an electric plub.
