Acupressure point for motion sickness
These wrist bands are super simple, just a terry cloth elastic band with a little plastic bump/button. But what it does it really much more. I've studied acupressure and realized immediately that the white plastic piece presses the exact acupressure points that alleviates motion sickness (the point is called P6 and it is a little bit difficult to reach both at the same time on your own wrists, so these wrist bands are really convenient!). I tried it the other day when I was riding in the passenger seat of the car; I usually get motion sickness when I read my phone, but when I put on the wrist bands I felt better in just a few minutes. Next time I'll remember to put them on even before I get nausea. Make sure the white piece is lined up on the wrist straight down from your middle finger and you're all set. Only negative I can mention is that they are pretty small and may not fit some larger wrists comfortably.

Too tight on wrist causing indentations, not safe cutting off circulation
Too small. Suitable for a child.

Great product!
Once, Neil deGrasse Tyson said on his Star Talk podcast, "there is no such thing as alternative medicine, just like there is no such thing as alternative science." I would agree that in order for something to be considered science, it needs to be rigorously tested, and proven by the methods of the scientific method. However, just because it's not yet proven, it doesn't mean it doesn't work. Maybe there's no funding to perform research into a particular topic. Maybe it doesn't work for everybody, but if it works for some, is it worth trying it? Especially something inexpensive like this.If you research on Google, you would find that this pressure point on the anterior aspect of the wrist does work in reducing nausea. Maybe you're travelling in an area where there are no stores. Maybe you're pregnant and don't want to or can't take nausea medicine. Maybe medicine isn't working, and you're willing to try all alternative methods like ginger chews and accupressure. It works for me, and it worked for the friends and family that I've introduced this to. (You can also apply pressure with your other hand.)I will say though, that this is $8.99 with Prime shipping (on 2023/05/05), while Rite Aid sells them for $6.59 on their website. I'm not sure why there's a price difference. Also, there are less expensive wrist bands on Amazon. So perhaps, this $8.99 isn't a great value.

As good as SeaBands
These are very comfortable as far as these wristbands go. They are in the goldilocks zone on my wrist (~7" where they are worn) - not too lose, not too tight. They don't get uncomfortable after hours of wear, either. If you need more immediate relief, I find that if you press the button in for a little bit that it helps faster. If you haven't used these before, the flat side goes on the outside and the raised button goes towards your skin. It's supposed to hit a pressure point so that it relieves your nausea. If you aren't feeling any relief, adjust it a little bit and give it a few minutes. It's not instant, but quicker and less effects than taking Dramamine.

😂
I bought it with the mentality of giving it a try, and it really doesn't work

Great for nausea!!! 🤢🤮
The media could not be loaded. These wrist bands are super packable and easy to use. Simply slip a band on your wrist before anything that may cause motion sickness. Put them on both wrist and waited about 10 minutes. I felt a lot better. They are definitely worth a try to see if they work for you. Absolutely recommend these!!

Too small
The item was for an adult, yet my hands could not fit, very very tight. I wouldn't recommend unless for a child. Wouldn't buy again. Waste of money.

Comfortable fit
As I've aged, I notice that I am now more susceptible to getting motion sickness. More so on a boat than other forms of transportation. As a result, I don't really go on boats anymore. I did get this for an upcoming plane ride. I notice that I get the onset of it during flights and got this for use on my next flight which is a much longer transit. I have tried on the band and notice that it's a little tight for my wrist. However, it was still comfortable, and I'm thinking that it needs to be tight for the pressure on the Nei-Kuan point to be effective. As a result, I don't think I'll have any issues with wearing this for the duration of the flight.
