Grave Love: A Dark Stalker Romance

Whew! That was DARK…captivating and delicious but oh so dark. I feel elated and also feel the need to shower to wash off the ash.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Darkness: 💀💀💀💀💀Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️*takes a deep breath*I have no clue where to begin with this book because it was nothing like anything I’ve ever read. It was morbid. Gritty. Gross. Effed up. Essentially everything you’d want in a horror story 🫣Ren spends her days working at the mortuary 🪦and truly has no desire to be around any more. She has a very specific unalive wish that the new groundskeeper, Blaze, is more than happy to assist with. What started simply as a “work agreement” to help with Ren's end goal, turns into something so much more. Blaze realizes that having Ren be his 4th "trophy" just isn’t good enough. He needs to own her completely in both life and the afterlife …The trigger warnings are no joke in this book 🫨 and what was a first for me was that the writing *style* and not the typical TWs were what made this book make me go “Uhm .. What???” 😵 Audrey has a very unique writing style which really brought the story to life (hehe) and made it more disturbing than what I thought possible.The dynamic of Ren and Blaze is very transactional at first, but it was so interesting to see how two people who are so consumed by death 💀 can actually find life within one another ❤️‍🔥 While reading this book I didn’t think there was a way to have a HEA, but Audrey made it work and honestly? I think this book solidifies that I have issues lol I know this man has done horrible things and will continue to do so but come on! Deep down he's just a broken little boy who no one would help! This was kinda therapeutic for my worthless and super-cidal thoughts having self. I was not expecting to feel like Ren was relatable. I'd definitely say read your trigger warnings. But this, "We belong together: the killer, and the corpse. We complete each other.” Man has a way with words 🥰 Oh and that Epilogue...I got goosebumps. They really are perfect for each other!

The run-around was absolutely ridiculous. The logistics made no sense. I liked the characters, I felt their pain. Honestly, the best part of this book was the murder of the ex. But, hey, what do I know? Overall, I don’t think this is a must-read. It’s just okay. The ending sucks. It’s weird. Doesn’t make sense. I can’t understand the idea of like Ren has healed yet she’s keeping her grandmother hostage? It’s just dumb. I don’t know. It’s like a fake and transparent happily ever after that doesn’t feel happy. Does that even make sense? I don’t know but this book doesn’t make sense either, so I guess it’s fitting. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly I have no freakin clue what I just read or if I even liked it tbh 😳 the writing was fantastic; only thing is I didn't care for the way Blaze described Ren's lady parts. Idk it just rubbed me wrong when he kept repeating it. But I think I'll have to check out another book by this author.This book is very dark and has very graphic detailed scenes. Read the TWs if you have any as this book has many of them!

This book is like nothing I've read! Audrey Rush pushes the reader, me lol, to the very very edge and pushed me off! I devoured this book and loved every single bite! This isn't dark its pitch black and if you love psycho stalkers and psycho victims you'll love this read. You have to understand this has so many triggers, which I love in my books, that if you're sensitive to suicidal thoughts, homicide, and sex that is so perverse that you would be disturbed by it find another book. However, my darkest friend's, if you're into reading a book with the things I mentioned above and even more that I won't mention, then you'll love this read! I read it in a day because I couldn't put it down! There's even a perfect ending for those of us that love the very worse psycho couples to have their HEA..I also really understood why they both were like they turned out.. Sad very very sad and because I'm not from the best of families I could really relate to Ren...as a matter of fact it was scary for me to realize and remember a time when I felt like she felt. This is why I read the darkest of dark books..it challenges me to look at myself and yet it is safer looking through the eyes of the character in the book I'm reading. Make sense? Well that's why Audrey is one of my favorite authors in this genre..it's not easy to write books like this and do it so well.. Audrey allows me to see everyone in a truthful light. Even the smallest detail and the smallest character that may only be described in a paragraph. I'm always going to feel emotions her books. This is not the first book I have read of hers and it will not be the last! This will make you squirm, angry, horny! Omg I mean steaming between your legs ! 😈😈😈! I'd give it 100 stars so read it!

I questioned my sanity with every page.. and while this is one of the most depraved books I've read I haven't had this much fun in ages.Please, please check your TW's before jumping into this. This is DARK! You have been warned.Everyone else: enjoy!

It’s hard to describe this book as it is super dark. But it is so well written I was completely absorbed. The mental health inside thoughts were a bit too close to home but it was almost therapeutic seeing them written by someone else. The characters are beautifully developed and don’t deviate from themselves, they only grow from it. Definitely recommend this dark romance.

This is possibly the darkest book I have ever read, there are a million and one triggers and I love every second of their twisted love affair.

That was wild and messed up and I definitely didn’t expect to cry at the end of it but sometimes certain things just hit you right in the feels in amongst the most messed up books. If you’re squeamish I wouldn’t recommend it but if you like wildly disturbing and gross reads with smut and a wealth of trigger warnings then this may be for you.
