When I first pulled this out of the box I thought it was metal because it was so heavy. I think it will rip out of my kayak before it breaks.

The only place it could be installed on my Dagar kayak was on the top front and it fit perfectly. Holds the cup/phone holder securely.

Perfect addition to my recreational kayak which can now be used as a fishing kayak. I installed this track and then bought a rod holder attachment and a cup holder (which I use to holde tackle) next to it on the same track.

These are a little flimsy, but they'll work for cup holders and small accessories. I just wouldn't mount a rod holder or anything that will take a bunch of force on this track.

straight forward easy install

I ordered this for my new kayak to provide a mounting rack that can accommodate a variety of attachments such as cup holders or fishing pole holders. It was very easy to install with the included "stainless steel" hardware that you can feel good should NOT rust out. The screws have a pretty aggressive thread and one recommendation would be to pre-drill the holes with a very small drill bit to help prevent the screws from initially "floating" across your kayaks hard exterior plastic. Very reasonably priced and arrived quickly as expected from Amazon ;-)

Now I can finally mount all of my fishing accessories on my kayak! Highly recommend!
