I wanted something that would be easier to hold by someone with large hands, and this was the right length. However, he did not like the smaller bowl of the spoon as for stews. They are a good quality product and very attractive.

I lived in Seoul for five years and in that time grew to love Korean Spoons. They are the only type of spoon I use, and use them for everything! Sadly, I have been back States side for quite a few years now, and the Korean Spoons I brought back with me have succumb to the ravages of time, misuse, and loss. So, I decided to try these. I really do like these spoons. But, they are not exactly what I am used to in Korean Spoons. These are large and flat, like Korean spoons, making them perfect for eating boiling hot soup, and all the surface area helps to cool each bite. But, these are very round, All the good Korean spoons I have ever used were more oval shaped, and so were more comfortable to put in your mouth. These seem more geared toward sipping or slurping like Chinese spoons. So, they are not my favorite design.That being said, These are a nicely constructed set of spoons. They feel heavy duty and they don't bend right away when you try to scoop out ice cream. The hammered handles make them easier to hold. These will look great as an addition to your serving set!

I just stumbled on this after leaving another review for a recent order and I have to let everyone know that it's still going well these many years. The company was honest with the stainless steel material. No rusting at all and does well in dishwasher too.

Spoon head is shaped like a circle not oval, which makes it inconvenient to put it into mouth. Going to return it. Stainless steel is of excellent quality (18/10). Nice handle.Dear Manufacturer,Please make the spoon head oval and keep the rest the same!
