An Air-fryer must have...
if like me, you find yourself using your air-fryer more then your cooker, then this is a must...cooking food to a certain temperature to keep it juicy and doing so in a fraction of the time of a conventional oven, then this is a must these days... we might know the cooking times from magazines, books or hot sheets... but to be really sure you food is good and hot, not to mention served at the correct temperature to be at its best and safest, then this thermometer is a must...it is so important these days, that not only do you cook your food to the correct temperature, but that you don't over cook it and make it as dry as the Gobi Desert....... extremely simple to use, and comes with a rough chart on the Thermometer itself... .. tata for now.

Not sure.....
I'm not sure if it's me or if the Thermometer isn't working correctly. It doesn't seem to give the correct reading...it keeps temperature keep jumping around. maybe I need to practise more.

Compact tool that takes the guess work out of cooking.
Having ruined a beef joint by overcooking it, decided to invest in this thermometer, my first and by the look of it the only one I’ll need. The construction looks rugged and the additional features are very useful. ( bottle opener and magnetised so I can stick it on the fridge). So far only used to cook a rump steak (medium rare) using the instructions was easy, the steak was cooked to perfection. No hesitation in recommending this product.

Sensor damaged after 4 months
I was really happy with this thermometer up now. The error code LLL showed up which means that the sensor is damaged. I tried new batteries and tried calibrating it but nothing worked. It would be nice to get a refund but I haven't seen that there is this option. Disappointing

Takes all the guesswork out of cooking
We'd been 'going to' get one of these for a while.A few times recently we'd either given a roast a bit longer 'just in case' and found it overcooked and dry or done the 'it'll be ok' and it really it could have done with a bit longer etc. This takes away the uncertainty. The only issue is agreeing what the right temperature should be for different meats and for how long it needs at that temperature. There are so many websites and advice does vary, so we've looked at a few and gone for an average, then kept a note (with the thermometer). So a quick prod in the joint and you 'know' if it's at the temperature it should be and so it's much more likely to be cooked right through, but not overcooked. With gas and electric prices now so high you'll probably get back the cost by not keeping it in the oven any longer than needed, as well as having a better piece of meat (or pie etc.). It'll really come into it's own in the summer with BBQs, as we currently tend to pre-cook some chicken and pork (just in case!) before finishing them off on the BBQ. So now we can save the oven being on as well and still make sure that it's all cooked though ok over the coals. It's easy to use and has a large, clear display. Press and hold the On/Off button to change the gauge from Centigrade to Fahrenheit.I have to say that I didn't pay for this product, but if I had (with so many to chose from) I would still say that this is well made, good value and a very useful kitchen device.

Inexpensive meat thermometer with acceptable accuracy
This is a relatively inexpensive meat thermometer that comes with battery included and is ready to use right out of the box (after a quick clean, of course). We made steaks and used our trusty ThermoPop thermometer to compare and this one was within 2-3 degrees of it (always higher), which we find acceptable for meat usage, if maybe not baking purposes. It is hefty but very usable, turning on automatically as soon as the metal gauge is opened/pulled out from the device. The display lights up, which is nice, but we found it didn't have the greatest readability at an angle.Overall, I think this is a good thermometer option, and is less than half the price of our regular one which is getting older now.

Really Nice Digital Meat Thermometer
I’ve needed a good digital meat thermometer for when I want to cook that really good steak. I saw this one, and decided test it out. It comes with a CR2025 battery that powers the digital display, which flips when you turn the thermometer upside down. That way, you’re not trying to read the temp upside down. It turns on by opening up the probe, and turns it off when you close it. It also times out after 5 minutes to preserve battery life. You can choose Centigrade or Fahrenheit for your preferred temperature, max and min temps, and Hold so you can look at what the temperature is when you can’t read it. Pretty handy. The temperature registers very quickly, so you don’t have to hold it for a long time to get an accurate reading. It fits nicely in the hand and feels solid and firm. It has a magnet to attach to a metal surface, but it’s a pretty weak magnet. Also has a bottle opener on one end along with a hole to put a small carbineer, rope, or chain to hang it on something. It even has a cheat sheet on the back to tell you the proper temperature for a variety of meats.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, this is a very handy meat thermometer that is staying in my kitchen.
