Dependable Cooler for Travel
This is our Go-To cooler for trips to the pool or day trips out and about. Very well-made cooler that keeps stuff cold. I use ice packs instead of ice and have great results. Be sure to use the included zipper lube because it seals very tightly.

Items does very well keeping items refrigerated.
This is the second one I have purchased. The other one lasted a long time before zipper covering dried out and fell off. It caught in zipper and zipper separated. This new one does not have that design anymore. My wife and I like it because it’s not too big and heavy. It does a great job keeping items cold.

⁉️UPDATE ⁉️Great cooler !!!!
04/20/22Bought cooler to take with me since I'm an OTR truck driver. I usually leave for 3 days at a time and it keeps my drinks and food nice and cold. By day 2 the ice melts but it's still exceptionally cold with just the water in the bottom. I also toss in an ice pack that stays pretty solid for the trip. The weight of the bag itself is great too. I've seen in other reviews that the zipper has broke. I will say this, it's a waterproof zipper. The colder has fallen over a few times without leaking at all. On the other hand it takes some force to slide it around. I've applied the zipper lubricant, which looks to be a plain petroleum based jelly, like Vaseline. That does help but still is a little tough. That's my only concern, if it's made to work with the resistance than it shouldn't be an issue down the road. If so I'll be sure to update review. All in all .... I highly recommend this cooler.08/06/22Still happy and satisfied. As for the zipper I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you put the supplied grease or Vaseline between your index and thumb and go around the entire zipper at least monthly. If you use it on the daily like I do I would lube it up every other week. Once I got in the habit of lubrication of the zipper it worked effortlessly. I STILL RECOMMEND THE COOLER

Kept water cold overnight
Got this cooler since we had great experience with their lunch cooler bags in the past. Not disappointed!Rtic has great value, especially for the price. Add in a Prime Day deal, and it was a no brainer.First test was to use some old cheap freezer bags with 2 bottles of water overnight. Cooler was in the house, so not in a hot car, but overall, it kept the contents cool. The test was for 20 hours, so not a full day.Not a scientific test, but the freezer bag was thawed, and showed 49 degrees. Water bottle was cool to the touch, showed 59 degrees. Not bad for a room temp bottle kept overnight in this bag!Only complaint is the Velcro part that keeps the handles together. It is flat, and rigid. Twice it popped itself loose while just sitting there. I think as it gets used and conforms to the closed shape, it will be fine, but it likes to just lay flat open right now.Ready to start using it this weekend when we go to our next adventure!

Rtic cooler
My husband and I were in the works for finding a new cooler for when he is working at the farm or in the field. We have purchased this brand before and have always been impressed by its quality. It can hold up to 30 cans and has a detachable shoulder strap for easy carrying. My husband‘s favorite part is that it will keep his drinks and food cold for his 12+ hour workday. You will not be disappointed by its durability.

Survived being run over by a F150 and Bayliner Capri on a trailer
Let me start this review off by saying I am not normally so reckless with my personal belongings, but I am the first mate of the Capri. My duty was to ensure the boat remained by the dock. My aunt took my cooler and placed it at the end of the dock, where there was a walkway. My dad, being the man that he is, decided to cut right when attempting to maneuver the trailer into the launch. He ran over my cooler full of Coors, ice packs and my Frostbuddy coozie. Not only did the cooler survive like it was nothing, but the glass bottles of beer were unscathed as well. The Frostbuddy did not survive, however, as it was taking all of the weight of the truck. All in all this is one of the most durable coolers I've owned. The only thing that could possibly crush this cooler is a semi-truck. Kudos to RTIC for designing a cooler that can withstand thousands of pounds of pressure.

Great product and customer service
The first one that I received was difficult to zip and unzip. I thought that was just normal and it would wear loose over time, but then the seam began to split rather quickly after a couple of uses. The company quickly replaced the entire cooler with a brand new one that works much smoother and has had no issues after many many uses. It's a great product that keeps ice frozen all day even in the hot sun

Zipper broke after 7 days
Well, I really liked this cooler from the get go (30 can soft side) except for how hard the zipper was to open/close. I used the zipper grease, but it didn’t help much. My wife really dislikes the cooler due to how hard the zipper is to move. I’ve owned this thing for 5 months and have only used it 7 times. Well, half way in to my last trip, the lid and base zippers dislocated when I tried to close it (only had 15 cans and a little ice since the beverages came straight from a hard cooler on ice and I wasn’t going to be out all day). The two sides of the zipper were still within the zipper channels, but we’re not lining up properly to zip close and the zipper handle was extremely difficult to move. I finally got it to line up, but only half way across the front of the cooler, so the other half was still open which spread open easily. Being that we were in a side by side, I knew it wouldn’t last long and I’d have a trail of drinks and ice behind me for the next lucky driver to pick up, so I decided to use an old AO cooler that leaks, but at least it didn’t spill cans and ice out. I’m really disappointed with this product because I’ve had such great luck with my numerous other Rtic products (multiple hard coolers, and almost 100 of their tumbler mugs and water bottles that I’ve purchased for giveaways). I will contact them for support and update my post with the outcome. Wish me luck, and good luck to you if you purchase a soft cooler; I hope you have better luck that I’ve had.
