Great for baking sourdough bread in my 6 inch Dutch oven. Makes lifting out the bread so much easier. however, there is a learning curve with using the Silicone Bread Sling, The handles can be tricky to keep off of the Sourdough bread while in the oven, They do want to flip in the dutch oven pot, because they are stiff, you will have to tuck them into the side of the pot.Also please note they do get very hot, So be caution when removing your bread out of the dutch oven. Other than that they will save you money on not having to buy parchment paper so much! It's very easy to clean and seems very durable and after learning some tips and tricks along the way, They will be easy to use for baking.

I have been making artisan bread in my Dutch oven with parchment paper. These silicone bread slings are perfect! They fit my pan and make taking the bread out of the hot pan so easy. Bought one for my daughter in law as well. Love this product.

Used this for no-knead bread dough into a 6 qt Dutch oven. Easy to do although the circular part could be just a tad bit bigger for my taste. If you are not careful the dough can "leak" over the edge. I put the sling on top of a banneton, flip it over to release the dough and put everything on a cutting board so I can put it near the (very hot) Dutch oven. This minimizes transfer time and carrying distance and minimizes the "leaking" problem. Need a little care to keep the "ears" outside the lid when putting it on so they do not lie on top of the bread. Perform flawlessly otherwise.

I bought these silicone slings because they were recommended on an online sourdough group that I belong to. Normally I just free bake on a baking stone, but my mom gifted me a clay bread baker with a glazed interior and the sourdough stuck so hard that I had to soak it off, so when I saw people talking about these, I decided to give them a try. It did keep it from sticking, but it created a little pucker in the bread where the sling creased on the edge of the baker because it was slightly wider than the perimeter of the pan. That was the only negative if you are looking for a perfectly round bread - you’ll need to measure your baker.On the other hand, they exactly fit the bottom of my Le Crueset glazed cast iron bread baker. My method is to let the dough rise in the brotform, then drape the silicone sling over the top of the basket and invert it directly into the baker. Then I score the top of the dough and do any decorative cuts. Into the oven it goes, and after 20 minutes with the lid on, I take the lid off and let it bake for another 20 minutes. The ears on the sling are great for picking it up out of the hot pan, and the bread slides off easily. A quick wipe with a soapy cloth and it’s clean.It’s a lot easier than using parchment in a pan and for the cost, it is well worth the purchase. I’m very happy with them.
