This hair clay from Pall Mall Barbers offers your hair a good amount of texture and definition with a fairly natural looking finish. I say fairly, because unlike some clays it does give you a little bit of shine, so is not completely matte, but I actually quite liked it in my shorter hair.The hold and texture effect is long-lasting and this shine-like appearance lasts quite some time too. Throughout the day as the clay dried and was exposed to the elements, I did notice it looked a little more matte, which some people will prefer and I certainly didn't mind. I appreciated that throughout the day the clay made my hair re-workable, so if I got caught in the wind I could easy put my hands through my hair and reshape things quickly without needing to reapply anything or spend the whole day with messed-up hair.One thing I did notice that probably doesn't matter much, but I'd like to mention is that the clay smells amazing. As soon as you take off the lid you are hit with a really lovely smell. Many hair products smell quite synthetic, but this smelt great.I found I didn't need to use very much clay at all and it was very easy to apply. It has a nice creamy consistency that I rubbed into my hands and then applied to my hair evenly. The pot is rather large at 100ml, so I imagine this will last quite a few months before I need to replace it.Overall, this is a great choice of clay that offers you a hint of shine with nice and long-lasting texture and definition.

I'll be honest, I don't really know what all the different options on the product page were, so I just went for the safe option of a clay! I can safely say that it holds your hair VERY well, but it's also pliable for a few hours like the name suggests! If you want to change up your hair a bit during the day, you can! You don't need to apply more clay, you can simply run your fingers through and mess about with your hair and set it the way you want it to be!It smells absolutely great and doesn't really leave annoying sticky residue on your fingers. I always wash my hands after using any products anyway, just in case I eat food later and forget to wash my hands - I don't want to be ingesting hair product!Overall, I think it's a great hair product and this small tin should last you a while as a little goes a long way!

Unlike many other styling clay that I've used, this one looks a bit more natural and has a much stronger hold throughout the day without my hair getting messed up. I found that it easily manages to keep the style for the entire day before getting washed out.The clay itself is easy to rub into the hair and it doesn't leave any gunk or marks in the hair to let others know you've even used it. Not much is needed to properly style up the hair, I used a small drop and ran my fingers through my hair and within a few seconds, I could already feel the style taking shape.Even when I was walking in the wind, my hair moved slightly but was more or less still in the same position as when I'd styled it.Lasts for quite a while if used generously. As mentioned above, you only need a small amount for it to start working its magic.The clay is soft and easy to scoop too!

This is the first time i have used this kind of substance for hair styling and i really like it.The pliable clay comes in a very well presented tin with lovely graphics and the tin unscrews to show the clay inside.I watched the video in the description area and used a thumb sized amount to style my hair and then after rubbing the clay in my hands applied it easily to my hair. You really don't need a lot of clay for the styling as i found a little goes a long way and it leaves a really nice matte finish.A very nice product for my hair with a lovely scent

This is really good hair clay. It has a pleasant, mild scent that doesn't linger too long once applied. The clay is easy to work into the hair without clumping, and leaves the hair with a mild sheen which eventually dries into more of a matt finish.On my short hair, the clay is great for giving some shape and definition to my hair. My hair is naturally quite fine and so need some product to stop it feeling and looking too flat. This clay gave texture and hold without leaving my hair feeling like concrete, so I have to say it's an excellent product that I would recommend.

This is good clay for my skin fade with a bit on the top. Used sparingly I can style it with keeping volume and without making it look wet or greasy. It leaves my hair with a nice matte look with a good texture. I like this. I like the tin too. It has a pleasant light scent which is discrete and unnoticeable after application.The style can last all day and hair can be reworked once or twice, each time removing a bit more of the texture.Four stars, it is good but I doubt I'll replace my favourite with it though. But that is purely down to the scent lasting.

This Pall Mall Barbers large 100ml tin of white hair clay is softly whipped like solid cream. It has a great fruity yogurt scent. The clay feels greasy when warmed in the hands but once in the hair it looks matt and adds texture even to fine hair. A little amount is better than a lot as it holds the style well and lasts most of the day. I apply it with finger tips and on dry hair. The use by is 12 months from opening. The metal tin resembles a shoe polish container and had no security wrap or seal.
