This is good quality thick solid copper wire for running heavy loads. Copper wire has gotten really expensive and this is cheaper than the big orange store. Its got all the certifications and everything you need and the jacket is nice and slick making it easy to route. The insulated jacket on this cable is so thick and durable, which is why I selected it, I had some critters chew through the jacket on my last job. I’ll be protecting it in conduit still. Everything came as advertised now it’s time to install.

Pure copper wire not tinned aluminum or something like that. This looks to be Essex branded wire, the wires themselves seem fairly well protected the outer sheath seems sort of thin even for the NM-B type of wire like this also cut quite easily compared to many others I have worked with. I would like to see something a bit harder to cut just as would hold up to wear and tear better or damage when pulling the wire.

Good quality wire, its stiff, but its 6/3 and its as expected. NM jacket is a little thinner than I would prefer, however the insulation on the wire is of good thickness and tough. It was a little frustrating running it through the wall given its thickness and stiffness. Its pretty pricey at $74 for 15 foot, but if you need it, you need it. Copper prices are crazy expensive presently and unfortunately only getting more expensive. My local hardware store was out of 6-3 and only sold it in 25+ foot lengths. This wiring saved me some money as I only had to go roughly 12 feet to get it wired between the breaker box and the NEMA 14-50 outlet I had installed for the charger and wanted to have a few extra feet just in case.Final thoughts:Overall, the Arizona Electrical solutions branded 6/3 NM-B insulated wiring is well made and comes at a decent price, shipped prime and arrived just in time. This Arizona Electrical Solutions 6/3 Type NM-B Copper wire is about as good as it gets. It comprises three color-coded (Red, Black, and White) #6 AWG wires and one uninsulated #10 AWG solid grounding wire. The branding on the wire is “Encore Wire Corp.” This is a US company, and the wire is made in the USA.Conclusion: Copper prices have skyrocketed, and no copper wire is inexpensive. This wire runs about one dollar less per foot than I’ve found at a large home improvement warehouse chain. In cases where you only need fifteen feet or less, this is the way to go. I see no reason to give this wire less than a five-star review.

This cable did not come packaged new - it was just coiled up. That's fine, but the description said 15 feet, and I received approximately 10 feet.
