I like a chunky pen. This one is comparatively slim to some I’ve had, but accepts Parker style refills and has written well. The shape I think is ok, not noticed the hexagonal profile to be less comfortable than a round metal pen.The only reason to deduct a star is the ring in the top. When you write it jingles like a bell which is really annoying. Five second fix with a pair of pliers, but putting that metal into making a clip instead would have made it a five star item.I quite like the “bolt action” to engage and release the nib as it is both positive open and closed. Some pens (looking at you, fisher space pen) are quite easy to click the nib down. This one is not going to get ink in your pocket unless you put it in with the nib down, as the bolt needs to be released, clicked down, and engaged into a p-shaped cut out. It’s strange to learn as I’m writing that I don’t know a bunch of terms for how pens and catches work, so hopefully you, dear reader, get my drift

My grandson picked this out and said it was his favorite pen.

A good weighty pen, nice to use.

This is a tough little pen. It looks quite distinctive with it distressed brass finish. The bolt action is smooth with a satisfying click. It certainly has the fiddle factor. The major draw back - and it is a significant one - is that it makes your writing hand smell like you have been handling copper coins all day. It can be a pungent smell.

Der Kugelschreiber ist wie beschrieben massiv, hat ein für mich angenehmes Gewicht und sieht gut aus. Das Schreiben mit den Kanten ist noch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber es stört nicht. Die Mine rastet gut ein und der Mechanismus ist interessant. Toll, dass auch gewöhnliche "Parker-Minen" verwendet werden können. Mit dem Kugelschreiber an sich bin ich bisher sehr zufrieden. Den Sterneabzug gab es, weil entgegen der Produktbeschreibung keine Ersatzmine beilag.
