These lamps are packaged well so they do not get damaged during transport. They are perfect for lighting where you are trying for an ambient look without a bulky shade. They have a minimal footprint but provide a clean, non-cluttery, modern look. Easy to assemble. You need to provide the light bulb. Recommend a 40watt The socket has a 60watt limit. Socket takes the standard light bulb size.

Purchased the beige for my home office, and it fits as perfectly in the corner as I'd envisioned. Easy to put together (thanks to the person who gave visuals on how to install the fixture!). I was a little worried about getting the shade rolled correctly, but nope, easy peasy. Foot switches have always been my fave. Feels solid. Bought the black and it looks fine, but considering spray painting rose gold to match the room's accents. Illumination is what I wanted, though I cannot WAIT until real incandescent light bulbs make their comeback. Highly recommend.

Oddly infuriating to put together. It has one of those lampshades that click on the rings. When you first try to out the pole together, take off the plastic brown rings, because the pole doesn't fit into them! You have to take them off to screw the pole together. Then, it was a real chore to get a lightbulb to screw in. But once you are past the silliness of this, it's quite a lovely little lamp. The linen look shade diffuses a bright bulb very nicely, bringing quite a light of light into a dark corner. Perfect compact size.

I’ve had this lamp for over a year now and it’s still working great. The floor on/off button is unique and works well. It’s a very lightweight lamp and you can tell it’s made of cheaper material, but it doesn’t look cheap at all.

I have purchased this lamp 5 different times. Easy to put together. Inexpensive for a floor lamp and fits in small spaces. I also purchase a GE color changing bulb to go with it that comes with a remote so I can use the lamp via remote and have different color light as well as warm and cool and dimming with the bulb.

Simple, inexpensive floor lamp. The main tube of the lamp is four pieces that screw together and then screws to a weighted base. I was impressed with the Guage of the metal tube's the pieces screwed tightly and securely to each tube segment and to the base.The lamp shade is a little janky tho. It is a flat piece of plasticized paper (or maybe all plastic) that clips onto a top and bottom ring and then velcro to itself to form a cylinder. It works, but not a real lamp shade imo. The velcro'd edge is pretty thick and needs to be positioned out of view. Clearly this is a way to reduce production, packaging, and shipping cost. Otherwise the quality of the lamp is great for the price.

Oh, it's a nice little lamp. Looks fantastic and assembly was easy. Instruction font was super small though, with reading glasses could barely see it. Anyway, great value and I love the foot switch! Super cool. Use the included sticky pad to attach it to floor. Awesome addition to my new music room. Turn off the regular light and put on lamp only, for a cool ambience....
