No reaction to soil wetness
Regardless of the amount of water in the soil from wet to soggy, the red indicator did not move.

Long with no instructions included.
These are a little long for average house plant. Did not come with any kind of instructions or how to exactly use them. So I am assuming you just push them in the dirt around the plant. But would be nice to know how to read the meter or what the numbers mean.
