Merlyn: Legends of Camelot 6 (Arthur the Son – Book I)

the Eagles Brood about ten years ago and though a different title, this is still a great book. Hate the new name and new order of series, which defies logic. But love the book. Only fourth book I've re-read and others were first two in the series and a Douglas Jackson book.

Great book but needs to be read with PENDRAGON

I have two left to read of the nine. Jack Whyte is an exceptional author; I find his characterisation excellent and his vocabulary is so descriptive it is like a movie in my head as I read. The information gained on weaponry, clothing, peoples, the land, etc can make you forget you are actually reading a work of fiction. I would recommend these books to anyone.

I started off with the "Knights Templar" books written by Jack Whyte I have now ordered the whole series and I now have them in my possession. I think he is a marvelous writer, and when you check his facts with other authors he is 100% correct, thank you very much.

A superb series of books beautifully written, start at the beginning and enjoy.

You need to read the series starting with Excalibur then the boy king its a brilliant series of books recomended to all Arthurian readers

Never been one for reading but I have certainly changed that in reading this series that I have thouthorly enjoyed.
