Works great, very quite
The 12k BTU 110v della mini split works great at cooling off our approximately 600sqft living room, kitchen, and dining room area. It's much quiter then we expected, the only thing we have a problem with is the app. I can input certain temperature for the a/c and heat to automatically come on. I have to manually switch modes then reenter the desired temperature.

Impressed So Far - Probably Not DIY For Most
So I live in Arizona where it has been blistering hell all summer. I have a 250-300 sq ft room that gets a lot of sun and has been intolerable even though I have put on window tinting, blinds and have made it as dark as possible. Enter the 12000 BTU 17SEER 115 V unit.So far I'm impressed. It quickly cools that room and is very quiet. It's made that room livable and a totally different space. The minute I turned it on I was just gob smacked with how great it felt and what a difference it made.I installed it myself and for the most part it went well. I had minor issues. One with the bracket being too close to the wall for the interior unit to clip on easily. One with getting the hole cut so that the bend in the lines didn't exert too much pressure on pushing the back of the interior unit away from the wall. There are some excellent videos and if you take your time and follow them and have the RIGHT TOOLS, it will go pretty smoothly. Having said that, I would not recommend a DIY to anyone who does not have at least some familiarity with tools, electrical connections, etc. unless you want to study the videos and focus on doing it step by step. You definitely can do it; just don't expect things to be a quick snap together and you're done kind of thing. The other important thing to note is that if you do decide you need to vacuum the lines, as is recommended, it may be more economical for you to buy a HVAC vacuum pump kit vs trying to get an HVAC pro to do it. I tried to get some pros to just vacuum the lines and the quotes were just stupidly ridiculous. So I bought the pump and did it myself. This part was totally foreign to me. I have experience, not pro, but have done lots of construction projects. Still this was a bit nerve racking so I watched multiple videos, studied them and went step by step. End result was a success.I wish the remote had better instructions and I'm not sure how it will affect my electric bill. However, so far it has made a space that was totally unusable, a very pleasant and comfortable space.Overall I'm pleased with the unit and the results and think the price was very reasonable.

Works well, but indoor unit vibrates.
The indoor unit has started vibrating after a couple weeks, like the fan is unbalanced. I'm just hoping this doesn't damage the motor/bearings. Will update if it gets worse.

Awesome deal, very quiet, freezing cold!
I absolutely will update my review if it ever stops working (posted 21 July 2023).This is a really great value. I don't know if you could find a better deal.I bought this with a $50 coupon, for a total of $550. And the great thing is, this unit is certified, so in my state (Nebraska) and many others, you can get an energy savings credit for installing this. As of date, the credit is $600 in Nebraska which pays for the whole unit! This AC cools my 350 sq ft apartment incredibly quickly on a hot day.The most surprising thing to me is that it is extremely quiet. You can barely hear the outdoor unit running, even standing outside next to it, even when it's running on full speed. The indoor unit is probably quieter than any box fan, ceiling fan, tower fan, etc. When it's on high, you can definitely hear air moving, but once your space is cool and it switches to low, it's quieter than your refrigerator (literally). Sometimes I don't even know it's on until I walk by and feel a slight cool draft underneath it.The remote and app just work ok. I'm surprised the app does have quite a bit of scheduling and triggering functionally built in tough, and works with Google and Alexa. For the price, I can't ask for any more. Once you figure out the quirks it works just fine. The worst thing with this product is the customer support. It's nearly non-existent.I needed to get the AHRI certificate to get the rebate from my utility company and their phone support said they couldn't provide it, to contact the manufacturer instead, and they hung up on me.I emailed every possible email I could find online for Della. Some are broken, some have you sign up for a help desk account for a toy company, and one of them did reply with the certificate which really surprised me.I could not find the certificate on the AHRI website by model number for some reason. It seems like an issue with the AHRI website. When the Della manufacturer gave me the certificate, it checks out. I verified it on the AHRI website using the codes provided, and the model number matches what AHRI has, so it's legit.I emailed the following and got a response:[email protected]@[email protected] response came from:[email protected] got a return to sender response from:[email protected] questions, feel free to contact me:[email protected]

Amazing air conditioner
I was using a portable air conditioner to keep our 20x22 uninsulated garage in Florida cool and dry. It was highly inefficient and a power hog. When it quit I decided on this 12k btu 120 v unit. It only a few hours to install. I had an hvac tech hook up the coolant lines for $80. This unit is absolutely amazing! We are having a heat wave here with temps in the mid 90s every day and insane humidity at night. It keeps the garage at 75 degrees day and night with ease. I ran the power cord through a power meter to keep track of cost. I have just finished one month of operation and it used $18 of electricity. Even when opening a closing the garage door it recovers relatively quickly. Both the indoor and outdoor units are very quiet. It keeps humidity levels lower than our central unit in the house. At this point I'd highly recommend!!
