KOLLER PET GROUP Anchor Hocking Classic Drum Style Fish Bowl 1/2 Gallon

i purchased this on 11/15/14 for $10.68 Prime from PetsTek. my review is closely connected to the quality of the item relative to the price paid for it, which is why i include the information in my review. the item is exactly as shown in the picture with two flat sides, and holds almost exactly half a gallon. the glass is smooth, not textured. i purchased it to ozonate olive oil in, as i read in an article by dr. lawrence wilson that this fishbowl shape that rounds up to a lip will prevent the oil from bubbling out when it foams, as before the foam reaches the opening it falls back into the bowl. it served the purpose well, and i will probably use it for different things, but never for a little fish, because i would want a fish to have more space than this to swim around in.

Low quality glass with huge, obvious seams on the sides and TONS of dimples and other imperfections in the glass. This WILL NOT give you a crystal-clear view of your fish. (Not to mention this is WAY too small for any fish. I was planning on using it for brine shrimp.) Finally, there’s two large cracks in it, about 4” each. Not worth the effort to return it.

quality is average with a line down both sides. Its a flat front and back with rounded sides.

My 4-year old wanted a fish, so we got him a Beta and he named it Soggy (no kidding, he picked the name). I bought this bowl becuase it was the right size, a decent price and MADE IN THE USA. The packaging was excellent. Now I just need to figure out how to train my 4-year old to change the water every week...

Beat fish tank perfect size for a beta fish. Just enough space to swim around and enjoy life for the fish. Great thick glass quality.

Pretty little tank for my Beta. Easier to clean than my acrylic one was.
