A good balance between weight and durability.
The problem with the really light & inexpensive ponchos is that they won't stand up to a combination of hard rain and hard wind. This one will. It's also big enough so that you can drape it over a medium-sized backpack. I'd recommend carrying a length of rope with it, so you can secure it to your body when the wind is high. Otherwise, you'll be flapping like a flag. The only negative I discovered with this product is that I found myself wishing I'd bought the type with flaps for the arms.

HUGE!
I'm 5'7" and got the version that has the snappable 'sleeves' and this thing is HUGE! Which is great! With my arms at my side, it covers all the way to my mid-knuckle area and mid shin in the front and low calf area in the back. Works great over my backpack as well, so no need to buy a backpack rain cover when out and about.

Durable
Can be hot, a little bit too much poncho at times, when a down poor comes and you're on the trail you'll be glad you have it. It's big enough to cover me and my pack. The hood is a little aggravating but it can be folded back some in front. Not very breathable, It's not something you would want to wear very long because you're body temp is going up. Easy to fold/roll up, light and small enough to pack, drys quick enough.

Works as intented, but small neck hole.
Works well, cool it can be used as a small tarp. Lightweight and easy to pack. Only issue is the head/neck hole is very small.

Lighter than expected
Seems very durable. Love the small visor on the hood. Lighter material than I expected, but has traveled well so far! Fairly easy to put back in carrying bag. Overall, it's a great value. Kept me dry in Iceland!

Its really thin but....
The material is really thin but i havent had a chance to use it ill update this when i do. Other than that it comes with a bag that is pretty small which helps with storage in a vehicle but like a sleeping bag compression bag its a pain to get the pancho back into it.

Roomy
This poncho covers all the way to my knees! It's great to be fully covered while still being able to move around. The carrying bag keeps it rolled up tight when not in use.

Even better than I'd imagined.
I bought the Sea Blue poncho which arrived even sooner than originally predicted. On opening the parcel I was surprised how small the pack was. Very neat, light and a great size to shove in a backpack. I managed to get it back inside the bag without any issues - not loads of room, but certainly enough if you roll it down enough. The material and stitching look really good, as does the colour. I was also pleased to see there were more fasteners down the sides than I'd thought to stop it from flapping open in the wind. I didn't see these extra poppers when I'd looked originally - they're not very obvious in most of the images. This should be ideal for walking as well as for using in our canoe with it's (the poncho) roomy shape giving plenty of ventilation and space to paddle. No more sweating in kagools that leave your legs exposed and wet. Big enough to shelter at least two people in if there's a sudden downpour and definitely enough room to go over any backpack too, as it's slightly longer at the back.I'd definitely recommend this for when you're out and about anywhere in poor weather.

Keeps the rain out
It accompanies me on all my hikes. You never know in Holland when it starts to rain...The cape is light weight, heavy stock vinyl, rolls up to a 10cm x 20 cm tube, that hangs on my belt. When the rain gets heavy enough I take the cape out of the bag, throw it over my head and within 45 seconds only my feet receive water. Also my camera equipment in my shoulder bag is protected from the rain and snow. The cape is also an emergency shield when high winds blow right through summer clothes. Just put on the cape to keep wind out and prevent windchill.I have used this cape now for several years and can conform that this is a durable option.
