Solved our problem!
We have a fountain that has a pretty shallow water well where the pump sits. That usually means that normal pumps are sucking air when the water level goes down much at all. It gets extremely frustrating to have to have the fountain water topped off in order for the pump to work. However, because this pumps sucks in water from under it, a somewhat lower water level doesn’t affect it (unless the water is practically gone, which I would never let it get that low). The flow rate is very adjustable and works perfectly. The power cord is a very thick three prong cord, which is much better than most small pumps. I would give this pump a 10 if I could!

WORKS WELL
I used this to pump water out of my freezer after cleaning it. Did a great job only draw is when you get about an inch of water it doesn't sense the water anymore.

Edit: My original review gave it 1 star for not working but, the seller contacted me and it was determined that it may have been damaged during shipping. They sent me a new one, free of charge and I tried it. It is everything they promise! I hooked it up and quickly and quietly I had a waterfall that sounded like a natural waterfall. No pump sounds, just a beautiful waterfall. 100% recommend this pump! Would add a picture but, the person I built the waterfall for doesn't allow photos of her yard.

Worked great for a water table.
I used this for my kids water table. It worked well. It was powerful enough to pump the water 2 feet up. The suction power was good. It was left out most of the summer and seemed to be pretty durable.

Noisy
This utility pump is being used for low-volume water transfers for various aquarium needs. I wanted this specific rate (gph) and didn't expect much for the price. If considering some other application where low noise is a factor, note it rattles incessantly.

Works like a champ
This little unit gets with the program. Super easy to install. You just plug it in and the water starts flowing. Doesn't get much better than that.I made the mistake of buying a different unit for another project I was working on. I guess I thought this one would be overkill. Well, boy was I wrong. The other one was pretty much DOA. So, I'll probably be buying a second one of these.5/5 - Would recommend.
