Very little skill needed, and no strength needed, ease it into the frame not push it in.
I am an artist so, do a lot of my own framing, there are some reviews that are negative, I think because there was issues using the frame. Frames are difficult to get through the shipping system. I was pleasantly surprised that both of mine came in perfect condition, I always leave myself time to return/reorder frames, though these had plenty of corner padding and came fine. When I do shows, often you have to use plexiglass. It can be hard to pull off. Start at the top ( squared off end ) and while the plexi is flat on a clean towel, scrape a bit of the one corner back. Touching the plexi only with a second clean towel, gently, slowly, work the plastic up along the top all the way across. Now slowly and gently pull it down, keeping it close to the plexi, not straight up. Ease it off of the point. Turn it over and repeat.I had to trim a flap off my pennants, at the top. You must check how your item is going to fit and do any adjustments that are needed, but with a pennant I would only adjust the top flat edge, not the point. I trimmed only a small amount. Then using permanent artist double sided tape, affixed only the top flat side of the pennant to the backing board provided.Place your frame on a clean flat surface, make sure ( use a small flathead screwdriver) that all the points are flat up against the rabbet edge. Ease the art/backing board into the frame. The first two sides will go in super easy, the next side you might need to work the art/backing board past the points and the last side you might need to gently ease the board past the points....easy does it. Then use the flat head and firmly push all the points down,Done!I hope this helps someone use a frame. It is kinda fiddly, and if not careful you will end up with fingerprints and dirt in the piece. This is why there are professional framers, who would be happy to use your provided frame and do it for you at a cost.

Not what I thought
The dimensions were correct for the flag I bought. The two pieces that create the bottom point had to be re-glued back together on delivery. Plus it looked like it was dropped on the bottom point as well. The biggest disappointment was the plexiglass that the flag goes behind. The plexiglass is hazy and the quality of the appearance reflects it. I'll probably end up trying to find a glass replacement.

Way to pricey for damaged goods!!
Bought 2 of these frames, both came with the bottom joint broken. Fortunately I have wood glue and clamps to do the repairs myself. For a $51 pricetag, they should be better constructed. Will not purchase again.

Hard to remove film on glass
First one came broken. Very difficult to get the film off - and there is film on both sides - the glass. Decent product otherwise.

Frustrating
The first frustration was the protective sheets over the plexiglass. While I appreciate the concept, it was extremely difficult to remove. The second (and worse) frustration was the backing. It was nearly impossible to get it back on after inserting the flag. We ended up with a crack in the plexiglass and at several places on the cardboard back. I would have liked to give it a higher rating but unfortunately can't.
