These are as good, if not better, than any paintbrush I've used. I use paintbrushes until they can no longer be cleaned, or they start fraying and falling apart so I don't regularly purchase new brushes. I've had expensive brushes in the past, and you get what you pay for with brushes, meaning the more expensive brushes are better quality and last longer. But it's tough buying an expensive brush when you could get multiple cheaper brushes for the same price, so I usually have cheap brushes. That's what I thought I was getting with these. I liked the price of this set and the variety of brushes, and I fully expected these to be low quality, but these are really nice brushes. The handles are solid and heavy wood, which gives them good balance. The brushes are very dense with bristles and there is no fraying. Four of these good quality brushes are less expensive than the one "nice" brush at the hardware store.

I used these to paint some trim around the house and they worked great. Im not a professional painter but these look like a knock-off of Purdy brushes. When compared to the Purdys that I have, the Purdy does look like better quality/workmanship, but at this price-point, these are a great option. Plus when my wife forgets to clean one of these, I wont get so angry. :)

This set of pain brushes is perfect for small projects. The synthetic bristles are soft and hold paint well.Application is smooth and they also wash well.I used them to paint the baseboards to refresh my bathroom paint. They worked well and made the painting process easy. There was no shedding of the bristles and the handle was easy to hold.I am pleased with the final results from this brush set and they are a good set for the price.

Basic brush set that does what you want it to. They cut fairly well, clean easily and don't drop a ton of bristles while painting.

I'll be starting paint projects soon, so this pack of brushes is a nice addition. The two different angled brushes will be especially nice for those tight spaces. The bristles have a nice soft feel to them and seem strong enough to last a long time. The only potential problem I could see involved seeing some of the bristles being spread out from the main brush. That might not be a problem once the paint is applied as the paint might keep all the bristles bonded together. The handles feel really nice and will certainly hold up to any projects you might have.

Compared to some name-brands, these are a good find and are very cost-effective. Some of the bristles came out after a few washings but it's still a good combination.

They're fine, a bit slick/thick/repellant/plastic-y bristles for what I'm used to picking out from the hardware store. Some initial shedding. Otherwise OK, not too hard but also not too soft.
