Comfortable with plenty of storage
Bought this for my husband when we bought kayaks for the family. Of course "kayaks for the family" is how he managed to get a kayak for duck hunting, but I digress. He's very happy with this life jacket: it fits well, it's comfortable while paddling, and it has plenty of storage. He hasn't had a chance to check the buoyancy yet, so i can't comment on that, but so far he is very pleased. i

I am very pleased with this product
Canoe Kayak Personal Flotation/Life Jacket. This is a type III vest. I am very pleased with this product. The floatation pads are at the right place. I feel very comfortable in it even when in my kayak paddling. It has many pockets that seal and will prevent water from dripping in.A lot of arm room around the shoulder makes this SUPER for yaking and canoeing. Also the lower part of your back does not have floating pads so you can sit comfortable in a seat. Really really cool flotation jacket, the camo look is amazing and again the pockets...soo many of them.PLEASE NOTE: read the instructions that come with this vest!!!!This is not a heavy duty life jacket. It is designed to keep you floating in still water and tilted backwards slighly. This is NOT IDEAL FOR FAST WATERS. It will not save your life on a fast river, not that the best water vest will either... don't think that this is enough to save your life in case you get caught is fast rivers, creeks, or fast moving water in general.I use this becuase I need a floating jacket so DNR leaves me alone in case they see me paddling on water & for some floating suport in case i dip intot he water. i do NOT plan on going fast river/creeks using this.Very good product but not designed nor intended for serious water!

OK, but not for every user.
Seemed to be well made, but sizing is way off (smaller than what the label says, by US standards), and number of pockets is not up to what a fly fisher would need, and flotation is OK but not as good as many competitive items. I returned mine and ordered a different vest more suitable as a fishing and kayaking vest.

All Purpose PFD
So far, I've enjoyed this life jacket. Its comfortable to wear and the pockets hold just about everything I need for fishing. Also, the camo pattern and shell loops make it great for duck hunting. The only bad thing I can say about it is that I do get hot and sweaty in it when paddling in warm weather.

very comfortable
Have used it mainly for fishing from the kayak. My only wish is that the upper pocket(s) were one bigger pocket. Other than that, don't even know i'm wearing it after a 10 mile day..Will be using for duck hunting soon so am sure will appreciate shell holders.

Good value
I normally wear a medium in these type of items, but needed the xs/s here. Used it for an overnight kayak fishing trip. The extra pockets were good, I carried to small things of tackle, some lighters, a leatherman, etc.

Great deal on a great vest...
I love this vest, despite the fact it's not meant for a woman's curves. However, PFD are mostly designed around the male physique, so other than the weird gap above my chest, it's mega awesome. I am 5'5" and weigh about 135 lbs. with a chest is about 38" and shoulders wider than the average goldilocks bear of my size. I got the XS/S and I could still wear allot of layers and a coat underneath it if I needed to... highly adjustable and very comfortable. Love all the little pockets, too, and the camo pattern is beautiful.

Great for kayaking as the sides are low enough that they don't bother me while paddling.
Size is perfect for me. I wear shirts in an XL or XXL. This vest fits me well and isn't too tight. Luckily, I haven't dumped into the water to determine how well it floats me, but it is USCG approved, thus it fits their flotation requirements. Love all of the pockets. Great for kayaking as the sides are low enough that they don't bother me while paddling.I hope you found this review to be helpful, please click below to indicate that you did. Thanks
