I was looking for a pair like i had 23 billion years ago when i was in the Navy. Now, one thing with these. First you MUST take the time to brake them in. Please look at my pics. The strap "A" is expandable and It will loosen up and stretch to fit your foot over time. The hard part to braking in a shoe is the heal back. "B" To hold your foot it must loosen up by wearing them. this takes time. I suggest using a large band-aid, the 2"x2" or better under your socks until the start to stretch out a bit. Trust me, at first that heal top will rub up and down and tear the skin right off of you until the shoe is broken in. Then they will get very comfortable. The only way over it, is through it. ya gota walk in em.Now for the shoes themselves. I love them. Good fit but always order a half or maybe even a full size larger then you usually wear. One pic is after a day out on the town and dinner, then a walk through wet grass. Not too bad, next shot is after a quick rub with Windex and a paper towel. They brighten right up! now, about the bend crease across the toe. Dont worry about it. When the foot is in it that lays down. And, its were your pant strikes it anyway. Its not cracking, that's braking them in. Another day or two and they should be nice and soft for an all day shoe.Remember, NEVER wear a shoe that is a "little " too small. ALWAYS go half or bit more larger. Your feet expand through the day from standing. Always realize your going to need to brake them in first. At least a little. So if they dont fit when you get them. Return them for larger right away!!!! Then at the end of a day, (with heal padded) see how they feel.Cheers to you all.

I figured, why rent, when for a few dollars more, I can have my own tux shoes. I went with a 13 D, afraid that the shoes would be a little bit narrow. However, they were perfect. I usually get a 13 D, but I can sometimes fit a 12.5 (if I can find them.) I tend to go wide on running sneakers (especially in Asics), since I like a little more room in the toe box area. I thought with these being a super dressy shoe, they would be more pointed. However, they have a nice rounded front and I found them to fit perfectly. Definitely a good investment. A more snazzier person might even be able to pull off wearing these in other situation, maybe matched with some dressy, slim fit jeans and a "velvetty" blazer. But, for the price, I had no problem buying them for the few times I'll actually need to pull out my tux!

These shoes are look Amazing. They fit perfectly as well as feel comfortably. I wore them for a few hours around the house immediately after receiving them the same day of receiving them. I was looking for comfort, fit and to see if parts of the shes would need to broken in a bit as some leather shoes tend to be a bit stiff in certain areas in contact with my feet. I had no issues the fit and found them to be quite comfortable after a few hours. I am extremely happy with the fit and overall look of these shoes. The order process was quite easy and delivery was fast too. I just had to be sure to check the size chart of the shoes to double check that I was ordering the correct size for my feet.Sometimes size charts can be off due to origin. Just double check before you order. These shoes shine!!!

Great tux shoes for the once or twice a year need. Looked locally for something like these only to find $90 - $125 price tags for shoes with man-made soles. Not a fan of man-made soles at all but the tux shoes with leather soles I looked at easily were $150 - $200. At less than $40 this is a bargain... add to that Prime free shipping......These shoes look great and basically follow the same styles as can been seen from big name designers. No strong plastic smell on mine. They even came with two shoe dust bags for storage. The insides are cushioned very well and feel soft. Did order 1/2 size smaller than my usual and the fit was perfect. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks Amazon!

Thanks to the help of some reviews, my wife bought a half size smaller for me and it fits very well. We bought a size 9. The shoe length is about 11.5 inches and the widest part is in the middle as shown in the photo. (My foot's widest part is around 4" to 4.25".) The shoes look narrow and longer than my normal size 9.5 shoes but are actually quite comfortable and look nice. The style serves my intended purpose for black tie events. When they were just taken out of the box, there was a strong chemical smell of the shoes. I don't need to wear them right away. After a few days in an A/C room, the smell was gone. Made in China. For the price and value, I'd buy it again in the future.

These shoes look really snazzy with a tux. I ordered my own size 10 i/2 medium (there was no wide option) and found them to be really difficult to get on when they came out of the box due to the width. But once I had them on, there was plenty of toe room and, as these shoes are light and have arch support, they were great to walk in. I normally have a problem with cramped toe room. The tightness in the arch of the foot lessened as the shoes were broken in. I wore them to a gig recently (I'm a jazz guitarist) and found them to be very comfortable. A really good pair of formal shoes for the bucks.

Great looking shoe. However they run about a half size to large.

I have worn a size 10 and 1/2 shoes for many years. When I received these shoes they seemed, as other reviewers have commented, about almost an inch to long in the front. So I exchanged them for a size 9 and 1/2. Waiting to receive them.I have now received the correct size( they run about a full size too big). THey are really comfortable. Excellent. I highly recommend.

It is a bit larger than the actual size compairing with other shoe sizes.
