I've used mine for over a year now and I bought another one for our vacation home. We even took it to the bahamas with us.It is very comfortable and quiet. Once my wound heals I think I will continue to use it. The quality is better than the one in the hospital and rehab facility I was in.

This is a great protect easy to set up and the cost was cheap I couldn't believe it id bought one sooner but I thought they'd be more expensive

One of the sides of my mattress has softened up a bit too much, and sinks in causing me to have back, shoulder, and neck pains recently, upon waking up. So before replacing it with a new mattress, I wanted to give this a try. I am so glad that I did! I like that it provides constant air pressure like an inflatable mattress that would be used for camping or travel, however, with the alternating bubble pressure points, its quite relaxing and comfortable. I can see how this would be an excellent option to avoid bed sores or ulcers if lying on it for extended periods of time.There are long extended "wings" on the head and foot area of the pad, which allow for the mattress pad to be secured and tucked in behind the headboard and at the foot of the bed so it does not move or slide around. It is very flexible and there was no chemical or plastic smell with the product upon unboxing.The pump is very silent on the low mode, and slightly audible in a quiet room in the medium and high ranges. It is not annoying though, and easy to get adjusted and used to. I do wish that the pump cord came in a longer length, as I have to run an extension cord to it. Very simple setup and I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a more firm option on their side of the bed or have a loved one that will be in bed for long extended periods of time.I hope that my review has been helpful! This is an amazing product. For those of us who can't afford expensive mattresses with all of the bells and whistles, this product helps a lot.First night I put it on it was easy to put together and in no time it was filling up here in the mattress.I will see the first time using it, I wasn't used to the air movement and so every time the mattress would deflate in certain areas I would wake up. So for me, I had to take some sleeping aids or melatonin to keep from waking up with this new way to sleep.Before I used this mattress, I was waking up sore and stiff. This mattress is like having little massages all night, keeping my body from being too stiff. I would wake up with a little bit of vertigo and dizziness when I got out of bed. Now, I wake up without stiffness in my body.For me, the machine is not very loud. I put it on a chair away from my face closer to my feet so I don't hear it. I also keep it under half power so it's not continuously making the bed hard for me.I love this and I wish I would've gotten it before. It fits my bed so I'm good with it. I am very happy with this product. I would highly suggest this product.

It was great at first, and then within 1 month it had a hole.After 4 moths stopped working at all.

We also have this decubitus air mattress with the tube-type alternating cells construction and that mattress has worked well for us. We got the bubble shaped one to try out with another family member and happy to report that all works well and as intended. I perused the user manual but setting up the mattress is pretty straightforward. All you really need to do is connect the 2 individual tubes from the pump to the mattress valves. And when pumping up the mattress for the first time, you should set the pressure dial to max for faster inflation. You can then adjust pressure settings as needed by the patient. In terms of the mattress quality itself, it does not seem neither thick nor thin but like any air mattress, there is the risk of being punctured by sharp objects so just keep that in mind. However, I do appreciate the fact that patches and glue are provided in the event that repair is needed.This is an affordable alternative to other products on the market for sure and I would recommend you give it a try.
