There are 4 adults and 2 kids in my household and they all have a zillion electronic devices and toys. I label everything that has a cable of any sort as soon as they remove it from the package. I have been labeling cables for YEARs and it makes it very easy when eventually they end up in my land of misfit cables. The label tells me if we still have that piece of equipment and if the cable is no longer needed I try to find someone who needs it before recycling. With these labels, I find that a permanent Sharpie marker with a medium to fine point works great. These are sturdy labels and waterproof to boot. I have tried in the past to print this type of label using a printer and it never worked so using a Sharpie works best you can get Sharpies in many colors although I prefer black. I was on the fence about the colored labels as I have always used white labels of this same type. But I decided to use colors based on the type of cable in some cases, such as micro, micro A, C, AC plugs, etc. So far these labels are doing an excellent job and I will order them again in the future. I took off one star because there should be a template available for download that lets you print on the labels using a printer and the labels should be checked to make sure a printer will print the text without smudging or printing faded text.

Great little tags. I used to use masking tape - and it either didn't stay put or eventually peeled off. These are terrific.

These are easy to write on, the ink doesn't smear, they seem to be very sturdy and won't tear with normal movement.

We use these to label all the cords in our house!
