For starters, the magnetic base is loose to the shaft/ball that holds it in the mount. Your detector bounces and swivels and won't stay in place.The nuts that go in the screws that tighten the assembly in place and made of plastic and im afraid if I tightens to the point that it doesn't wiggle around, they will strip out.I am returning this.

Did not fit on my Ford fusion 2019 rear mirror. I should have check beforehand. No problem with the product. It looks sturdy and i think would do well with other cars but not mine.

Bought two of these because they had decent reviews. Theft by deception huh. Both mounts are loose where the magnet and stem join together. Mount will not screw tight to mirror because it’s cheap junk. Cheaper is not always better. Lesson learned and will be returning.

This product was easy to install but it didn’t fit the radar detector well. Being magnetic it needs to sit flush into the receptacle of the radar detector it’s too big, though it did hang on while in smooth roads even some moderate bumps it held on. However, Bouncing on a rough road caused my $600 radar detector to fall from the mirror all the way to the floor, hitting the infotainment center of our van then crashing to the floor. Just not worth it. However there is one mirror Mount I found and it costs $115 dollars and wow at that price it still doesn’t have a magnet. You must take the one that comes with the windshield mount for the detector apart and fit its magnetic base into the mirror other mount. In California you can’t have a windshield Mount radar detector it has to be mirror mounted.

I like it but . . . the mounting bolts should be fine thread instead of course thread. The plastic wing nut broke on the first tightening. Thank God the device comes with an Alan wrench to tighten the bolts. It's worth noting that the device does wiggle a bit while hanging from the rear-view mirror. Otherwise, it does the job.

Used the pic as advertised to walk my way through as it came with no instructions .By tilting rear view mirror I was able to not lose the screw while putting it together. Noted longer screw not needed. Replaced with shorter screws for cleaner look. Waiting for my Escort 360 MKII radar detector to arrive tomorrow.. I'll probably need to make some adjustments for the height to not interfere with the mirror usage inclusive of OnStar.NOTE: To the review stating it fell off - you did not strengthen & tightened it correctly to your mirror stem. And you'll need to also set back the mirror flip so it is not in the way of the detector not flushing with the mirror. It means manually adjusting mirror during night barring lights

The mount fill apart within a month. The magnetic piece came apart with no access to retighten the screws that are hidden behind the non removable magnet. Don't waste your money here.

this product was easy to assemble and attach to my mirror. It dd not fit right and I contacted the seller. Seller gave me resolution and was very helpful. The product is designed very well
