Hard to get a steady reading as it constantly ticks up/down. So only good for a rough approximation.

It seems now, that in order to not get stuck with junk items ordered; You have to read all the negative reviews to get the real scoop on said product. It makes it an all day event; just searching for a decent TDS meter! It tooks days of pouring through bad reviews, before I came to this one.Well it actually works for my purposes (pool salt measurements). I can't say for how long it will last, but it has worked well so far. I will say that the screen is pretty hard to read sometimes; and I've found that you have to agitate the sample (stirring vigorously) to get a consistent reading. Think of whisking up some eggs, like.So my only real gripes are, that I wish it had a backlit screen; and also wish it had a "hold" button, so you don't lose your reading as soon as you remove meter from test glass.For the money, this works for me. YMMV

i only received 2 packs of testing solution the 4 and the 9.18 , for the price it does what it needs to do it has to be better then nothing

I may have been expecting too much, but it was frustrating that I needed to recalibrate this ph probe as soon as I got it. They did provide supplies to do the calibration but would have liked it to be set up properly at the factory. Only other thought is that it really needs a backlight for the display.

Es la segunda vez que la compro... la primera no conseguia calibarlo yo mismo.... me compré otro directamente, porque lo considero economico... el primero que me compre me duro 2 o 3 años aprox.... lo usaba bastante.... espero poder calibarlo cuando lo necesite... esta vez ya compre más soluciones pH buffer

Great meter. Reads well and easy to use, pain in the butt to calibrate though.

It works fine easy to use @ understand.It will work well to measure the pH levels for my plants.
