I love this drum. The color is beautiful. I ordered the pink and it is exactly what I was expecting. The sound is nice. It did come with finger tips to play with your fingers but they do not fit me and I couldn't get the hang of it to even play with just my fingers. I do like playing with the rubber mallets. It comes with a nice carrying case that will protect it. If you want to learn to play specific songs there is a song book included with a few different songs.

Nice tones

Got this one for my daughter and she loves it! Comes with a lot of accessories and a carrying case, and the works. Can be played on a hard surface or with the included harness. The tone is great and the number of different notes are good for hammering out many tunes. More of a novelty but just walking by and giving it a few taps, create a mellow mood and really, it's just fun to play with! Some of the higher notes need a bit of extra "Push" to really make them sound good, but this one is really high quality all the way around.

Kinda poor quality. The notes get worse the higher they get - but it's fun for messing around. This is a 30.00 item though. ..way overpriced

I love playing around on the steel drum. Although I'm an amateur, I do enjoy a good sound. I think this drum delivers that. The notes are easy to read should you desire to play written music. We have a good time banging on the drum along to other music for the fun of it. The sticks/mallets are easy to hold and sit comfortably in our hands. This is one of my favorite percussion sounds!
