Haven't really used this yet but it is well built and I expect it to be functional.

I bought this tool as my wife and I are doing some remodeling around our house and thought this would come in handy when needing to caulk around moldings and things of that nature.I have used it a couple of times now and have just been using the tip which came already installed. There are a variety of silicone heads though which you can use mainly depending on the application.There are more pointy ones and wider ones but the one which was installed seems to work on what we are doing such as crown molding and wanes coating.I found though that you should lay down a very thin bead of caulk as this will eat it up quickly as you pass down the wall and I have found that I have to wipe the tip often before getting to the end of a wall which is fine since it spreads it evenly and looks professional when you are done.It takes some time to get used to and is definitely not your finger.One thing to note I did find myself dipping the silicone tip in water before I would pass it over the bead and that helped out a lot with the spreading.I have not really used all the other tools supplied though and might update this review in the future if and when I get around to using those.

This was the first time I replaced caulk around a tub. In the past, I have been critical of other people’s caulking jobs. I got all the best tools and watched videos that make this look quick and easy. The caulking tool did not work at all for my project, maybe because my original caulk layer was very thin. It took me 4 hours to remove old caulk using mainly fingers and 91% alcohol as solvent. Also when putting the new caulk in, the only tool it worked were my fingers. Hope this tool provides more help to others than it did to me.

Easy to use

My finger worked better spreading caulking than this tool. Attaching and removing the individual tools to the handle require pliers. The handle fits comfortably in your hand, but the attachment tools smear the caulking leaving gaps/holes where the caulk should be

This tool might take some getting used to when removing caulk. It's not quite the same as a flat scraper. The silicone tips for adding a caulk bead will also take some getting used to if all you've ever done is the wet finger smooth. All in all a handy tool for removing and adding caulk.

Don't buy this, it broke almost immediately.
