If you have read the gumph on Amazon, you have practically seen everything in the books.However, they are made for babies.Babies don't care about much but they like to play with things and look at the pictures.The book is made up of thick cardboard (?) .I could have written and drawn the contents myself, which is something that I am considering doing after seeing this, as most people can draw a boat, a bus , a train , a hat, a bird etc.As it's a gift, to go with other books, it doesn't matter.

We've been reading these with our 1 and 4 year old. The pictures are lovely and it's been interesting watching them learn words in different languages! We are too! Very happy

My toddler has taken quite a shine to these four books. They offer a tasteful introduction to languages, and she can’t seem to put them down! Great language books for 0-3years, our 1y daughter loves looking through the bright and colourful pictures. Ideal in a bilingual household or those working towards being. Very effective language tool which is fun for the small ones as well as educational. The 4 languages supplied are those used most widely too which is fantastic.Verdict: Recommended learning tool for £14.99.

A good collection of books for the little ones to learn some words in various languages. It is only an introduction to these languages, they do not go into detail.The quality of the books is good, both in the quality of the paper and the printing, and the design with colourful illustrations and appropriate words. This design helps to keep children's attention. The books are sturdy and durable, which is essential in items for young children. Perhaps a little thick if the child wants to use them on their own.These books are for parents to use with their children. So one feature I miss is the phonetic writing. Maybe not everyone knows how to interpret it, but probably not everyone knows all these languages either. It's easier to learn to read phonetic writing than to learn these languages. So it would be really useful not to have to go to the internet to have it read to us.

The media could not be loaded.  The four books are well-made. The book has thick pages. All four books contain the same objects in the same sequence but the images used are different in each book. Each book has 16 images along with its spelling. The Chinese book also contains the object's name in the Chinese language.The images are clear and attractive. I read this book to my baby and it is engaging. I am not sure how all four books will be useful as most of the time I used only English version of the book.

its a nice set. Its easy to read.However its only a few pages. However i guess its a start.would have been nice to have a phonetical spelling too.
