Does its job, subtle but better than stock.
This product might be a bit expensive given the likely noise reduction you might experience, but there was definitely a reduction in our model y, perhaps 5 or 10 percent. It’s not a guaranteed perfect fit since there seem to be assembly fit and finish issues abound with the model y, and you might have completely inconsistent gap sizes that make this fit some cars better than others. Be careful about stretching it too much at any point on the roofline so you give yourself the best chance of it being as snug as possible everywhere.

Did not reduce wind noise for me
I have this high pitch squeal on my Model Y when going above 70mph. I thought this would help, but it did not.Install was relatively painless. I found that roof gaps on my vehicle was not uniform. The left side was much wider than the right and the front was almost too tight to use this seal. I definitely needed the included tool to install the seal between the roof and windshield. After install, the seal could still move around on the side with the large gap. Ultimately, I can't tell a difference from using it and not using it.

Works
I got it to use on my Tesla Model Y, the size is right, it fits perfectly. It helps reduce noise a little bit. Not a huge improvement but you can give it a try.

Seems to work!
I was skeptical that this would actually work, but it seems to have really quieted down the noise at the windshield/roof junction at highway speed. Another reviewer mentioned something about taking out the existing weather stripping/seal. Definitely do not do that! This is intended only to fill in the space between the roof and front/back and side junctions. I started at a corner and finished with the windshield section. I would not recommend stretching it too much at the windshield area, or you will be left with a lot of extra material as one reviewer mentioned. Instead I simply laid it on top and used the tool to stuff it in on both sides of the strip. Worked well and no slack leftover. I'm very happy with this $15 noise reduction, especially when Tesla accessory sites are selling the exact same thing for double.

A good product providing a simple solution to something I'm not certain is a problem.
The media could not be loaded. As with many of the aftermarket Tesla products I’ve added, I find myself wondering whether this item is a solution in search of a problem. But I was intrigued when I saw it. A quick review of Tesla forums found a few people who felt this kind of gasket helped reduce wind noise (which I haven’t identified myself as a problem) and I think one mentioned it kept grime out of the gap between and around the glass roof plates. This appeals to me. My prior car literally had moss growing in clumps around window trim. I’m already seeing dirt and plant material build up in these gaps on my Model Y. So I thought…. Maybe I DO have a problem I can fix…I prepped the car by washing it, blasting the glass gaps with water, and then finally running a folded paper towel through the gaps to remove the last dirt and rubber dust. Then I let it dry thoroughly. This Hoomin rubber seal came without any instructions…. just the gasket and the orange application tool in a bag.The gasket does feel like silicone—specifically a hollow tube of silicone. To my surprise, it is a complete circle—no ends. There is potentially a lot of stretch to it, but just laying it in it seems to pretty perfectly fit around the glass, from the gap with the front windshield to the gap with the lift back. No surprise to me, I found that the gap space was not uniform around the car. It was tightest at the front and variable at the sides. It was tight (but not difficult) to get the gasket in place in the front and on some parts of the side it is a bit loose (see video). At the back, when the liftback is up there is no “gap” at all—just the roof glass and space. I was worried this would flop around, but it does seem to stay in place fine (tucking just below the glass edge) and it does not interfere with the movement of the liftback. To give it a little staying power I actually stretched it by a couple inches across the back and around the back corners. I was able to simply pull up the front section of strip and lay it back down and it took up the slack fine—the gasket is soft and it just squeezed in.My main worries with this product are that it will 1) allow some water in where it’s loose and then trap it, somehow causing a problem and 2) that it will press down the existing rubber strips and distort them, so that they don’t function as intended now (if water gets in) or later (if the gasket is removed). To Worry #1, I can’t imagine that the original rubber strips are water-tight anyway. I mean, they certainly are not, since one edge is loose and sits up against the glass edge. Surely there must already be water trapped down there. There must be rubber/glue holding the glass down and sealing it to the frame, so hopefully this doesn’t matter. To Worry #2, I was careful to get the rubber strips properly placed (not jammed down) before I started (the orange tool was helpful). Then I tried to press the gasket down in such a way that it was not primarily jamming down against the loose end of the rubber strips. IF there is a problem, it will be at the front where it was tight and I did have to push the gasket in with the tool a few times. As expected, since I didn’t notice wind noise in the first place, I didn’t notice any change in wind noise with the strip in place. For what this product is and for the price, I have to give it 5 stars. I mean, even the fact that it is exactly the right length is impressive. But this 5-star rating should not be construed to mean that you should go buy one. The that point, I don’t know. I’m happy with mine and I believe it will keep debris out and keep the car looking better. But if this product were really needed, why didn’t Tesla design a version of it?

Ok for dirt not much for noise…
So this was a pain to install because the car gaps are not the same. One side it was easy to put in while the other was too tight. The back was easy and actually too loose and the front of the glass was the toughest part to install/insert. I tried 3 times over a period of a couple days and the third time was the one that work and fit properly. I think it does help with leaves and dirt but didn’t notice a difference on noise. Overall I think it’s just and ok improvement.

Does what it does
Does it reduce cabin noise at highway speeds? I think so. Wind noise now sounds louder at the doors, and I don't think this rubber strip made the doors louder. Also, I have a Model 3. This strip is way, way too long to fit. I had to cut it down to size. I am a bit concerned that this could leading to it becoming dislodged while driving, however.

Works OK, but not an earth shattering change
We travel a lot on the highway and noticed a lot of wind noise around the roof of our Model Y.This rubber seal is a bit tricky to put in. I got it in all the way to the last strip and realized the piece was too long and stretched out a bit creating a lot of slack. I pulled it all out and started over. I would suggest not pulling too much on it when installing the seal. I put it in without stretching it and it fit ok. I thought it was a bit loose along the back, and wasn't sure if it would stay in. I recently returned from a 800+ mile trip and the seal held in there fine.It did lower the wind noise but didn't eliminate it. For the price, I recommend it, as it did make it quieter.
