Installing motor to gearbox
Product was fine, problem was no instructions on how to assemble, came with 2 washers, needed 3, finally figured out how to assemble motor to gearbox, instructions would be very helpful

Do not use the bolts that come with the kit.
The bolts that come with the kit are too long and hit the gear. use your old bolts. Other than that worked great.

Motor not strong enough
I needed to replace the gear box only but ordered this kit because it came with a new motor as well. Overall it was a bit of a struggle to install. One of the bolts was too long and was hitting the internal gear. After we had it completely installed it became apparent that the motor sent strong enough to pull the stairs all the way in. Waste of money in the end.

Had to do some serious altering to get it to fit. But does work.
After being the description that it would work for my motorhome, it did not. I had to go buy more parts to adapt it. Does work, just be prepared to make alterations.
