Yes, it works well. Unless your teen is listening to very loud music while they sleep I can't imagine why it would not work.

The alarm comes with one loud volume level. It is not adjustable. The alarm is loud for deep sleepers. You can choose from 3 operating modes - sound+vibration, only sound, or only vibration.

Q: Where do you put the sensor?

You clip the sensor to the outside of the underwear at the point of urination.
